I have a feeling when all is said and done that Letcher Central will be representing the 14th region in Bowling Green this year. And the scary part is that they have a mostly young team, so the next few years could be kind of Cougarish. I'm not an LCC fan, just an observer.

Good road win for LCC.. I believe 7 players had at least 6 or more points very good balance. Haley whitaker hit a 3 pointer from half court to end the first half in which she had 10 points..

LCC is very improved this season, but until Breathitt Co. is beat by a 14 region team they are still 2 time region champs. I think Breathitt's schedule will prove to be the difference LCC hasn't played half the schedule Breathitt Co. has. LCC's kids play real well in 25 pt. games but come region the games are close and its all about taking care of the ball and the games are in the 40's and 50's not in the 60's and 70's.
