Broadband or Dial-up?

Yes, I know satelite sucks... Too bad that's only BB I can get here, and I think I'd rather have my dialup. I rock the internet's socks off, but I still can't play Xbox Live.

I have dial up through souteast telephone and it sucks. Someone please get dsl up here so i can get some speed going. We got electricity last week now we need dsl up here in the boon docks. lol

i got dsl now, SE telephone offers three different speeds... of course i had to have the fastest one, and it totally is the best thing about the net now. i can download a music video faster than the video can play. when i had dial up, it used to take between 20 and 30 minutes for a music video, now it takes like 2 minutes

I have dial up through Southeast as well and I need DSL as well, but it's not going to happen.

Reiz, at least we can get it when we move to Prestonsburg...

4leaf, you should be able to get it if you actually live IN pikeville, if you live right on the city limits they probably won't service you.

You should be able to get Cebridge cable internet if you live in the city limits, or if you get a lucky spot in the county.

The main road (going from pikeville to elkhorn area) doesn't have the cable internet offers... But Rocky Road, Harliss' Creek, Yellow hill, and Marrowbone do get cable. If you know what I'm talking about you'll realise how sad that is.

My dial up sucks so flippin bad..... My dad has Cable tho, but i gotta travel 2 and a half hours to use it. I want Cable so frickin Bad...
