Pike Central is finally coming into their own and will be playing at home. A Word for Gary PRESS THEM.
If Gary presses them and forces them to slow the tempo i like Pike Centrals chances. It will all key on the perimeter shooting and pull up jumpers by PCs guards in this one. No prediction by me on this one but Good Luck to both teams.

if Kayla Ratliff gets hot from the 3 line it could be a long night she really is a spark plug for Phelps.

The Lady Hornets will win this one. Best of luck to both teams!

You want him to press to slow the tempo? Since press is short for pressure, most teams press to speed up the game and force turnovers. I think pressure will hurt Phelps and the last thing PC wants to do is let Phelps walk it down and at least try to get Riley the ball down low where PC can't stop her. But with their coaching, they never look for Riley down low any way. Phelps is not deep at all and out of shape. I would run, run, run....but I still think Phelps is too talented for PC.

I wouldn't say that they are that out of shape.... They looked pretty good to me from what I have seen this year.... As far as being deep.... That is a matter of opinion!! LOL....

I do respect your opinion but I would say that are not in championship shape as evidenced by the All A. I've watched them several times this year and their transition defense is horrible. They are either too tired to get back on defense or too lazy and I know you will reprimand me for this because he's your boy but both of those cases goes back to coaching. As far as being deep, look at the minutes played during a game. Phelps plays five players for the most part. Wolford plays some and McGuire plays less than that. That's not very deep. Just my opinion.

Ihave to agree catfanatic, its not that they are lazy, they have played some very good D at times until they get to tired. Its still not too late to get ready for tournement but it's getting there! I've said all year they are as good or better than anyone in the region,if the girls are willing to work for it"that's something only they know" J.R. needs to put them to work and see what they got. IMO we would see a really good team!! As for the PHS PCC game if Phelps can make it without getting to tired they will win by 8 to 12.

This is a very good view catfanatic, however I must say Pruitt may be one of the better conditioned players in the 15th. She always gets back on transition defence and 60% of the time will make some type of play to either A) slow down the transition or B) gets a block lol. Reminds me alot of the days of Haley Ratliff at Pike Central with the way she plays in transition.
