Anybody who's seen the bracket care to rank the field?

Final 4 per the brackets
LTMS VS. Johnson Central
Crosby VS Clinton County

The field is so balanced that all of these 4 may not make the final 4.

Lincoln vs Scott Co
Clay vs. Meece

in the final 4.

Wayne County, Walton, and Moss are also 3 teams that have a chance to play in the final 4. I am sure I missed a couple but these 11 teams are all very tough.

I would have liked to have brought Virgie down but our 8th grade tournament starts next week. I would liked to have seen where we stack up against the other teams.

Who is Eversole? Is this Hazard? I know Hazard usually goes by Hazard, but there players attend school at Roy G. Eversole.

Hazard has a good 7th grade team, but I don't see them on the schedule, thats why I was wondering if they are going by Eversole.

I was able to see the Clinton Co. sixth grade team play and they went two and out. I hope the Clinton seventh grade fairs better in this tournament. Best of luck to all teams.

Has anyone seen South Laurel 7th grade are they any good, I know they have a very good 8th and there 6th grade was runner up to Wayne County.

Does anyone know anything about South Laurel 7th grade, I've seen the 8th grade and there one of the best in the state and I read that the 6th grade was runner up in the KBA state.

Clinton 6th played poorly all season except for the 2 Wayne County games which were 4 point games until the final two minutes. Wayne won the first by 6 at Clinton and the 2nd by 9 at Wayne.

Clinton's 7th grade has all of the pieces to go a long way but everyone in the 7th grade tourney can play. It could be 2 and out and it could be a very good Sunday. I sure hope they play harder than they did in the 6th grade tourney. I believe they will but these are 12 year old kids so you never know what you will get. If Clinton is playing their best they will have a shot to be a final 4 team. I think you will be able to see alot in the opener agaist Conner. The Bulldogs beat Conner by 18 to get to the final 4 last year where they beat Central to advance to the final before losing to Sayre. The field this year includes several more really good teams so it will be tough to repeat last years accomplishments but 2-4 wins would make for a good weekend.

very solid,ty proffits cousin plays he is 6'5 but still developing.play good defense with good size inside,good guards and their point guard is as good as any in 7th grade.

South Laurel will have a good showing. Looks like a very tough field of teams. Match ups will determinw who plays on Sunday.

South's 7th is above average. I saw them lose by a wide margin to Meece but they looked very solid. Quick point guard, a good shooter, and a couple of nice bigger kids.

In the state tournament are kids who already played in the 6th grade allowed to play in the 7th grade. I have a hard time agreeing with this, it sounds like Clinton is planning on play there 6th grade in the 7th grade. What's up with this.

That a way Ring'em Up, pick them all. I wouldn't pick any games because I didn't want to show favorites. I'm for all the mountain teams I will tell you that. Also, don't know all the teams, but from the teams I do know and the games I could have picked you picked the same ones I did. Should be a very interesting tournament bracket play starting tomorrow.

I don't understand some thing, will some one explain. Game 1 was played at 4:30 PM today, the winner will advance to play at 2:00 PM tomorrow. However, Game 17 is played at 8:15 PM tonight and the loser will play tomorrow at 9:00 AM and the winner at 10:15 AM. That seems a little un-fair to me. Why are they doing it like that? Is it because they are trying to keep the teams far away from home in Lexington? My only answer would be that, they want to keep teams in Lexington over night instead of having them go home and back the next day. Please Expain. I think its like that all over the bracket, I could be reading wrong so if I am, please correct me, I've been starring at a computer all day and things are starting to run together.

Some of the smaller schools allow their kids to play multiple levels. In the case of Clinton, that might not be a bad thing for the rest of the teams.

Thanks for the updates. Will be there early tomorrow morning. Surprised by the Mason/Meece outcome. Fleming Co. beat Mason pretty badly twice this season. Mason must have played really well.
