SAN DIEGO – A dancer at a Kearny Mesa strip club stabbed a man early Wednesday after he rebuffed her efforts, police said.

The dancer at Dream Girls Cabaret, on Convoy Street near Ronson Road, had repeatedly asked the man if he wanted a lap dance but he refused, said San Diego police Sgt. Jim Schorr.


"I guess he disrespected her and she pulled out a folding knife and stabbed him," Schorr said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with a stab wound in his side that was not considered life-threatening.

The dancer was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after the 12:45 a.m. attack, Schorr said.

She must've been the ugly stripper. I mean come on, who turns down a lap dance? :o
