You're right, lots of bad passes and TO's against the press.... Kayla Ratliff was on fire from 3 in the first half! Wish she had been more involved and created more shots in the second half!

if they did then y didnt the refs atleast attempt 2 call a fair game?
Whitt got fouled && fell && hit her head pretty hard, && the refs just stood there && stared at her && let the game keep going for atleast 20 seconds leaving just enough time for the other refs 2 call a foul agianst phelps.
IMO it was a VERY poorly officiated game, but both teams played good ball.

It was a good game. Betsy Layne was not hitting at all in the first half but really picked it up in the second half. Refs were HORRIBLE! I really hope they don't officiate the 15th region tournament for everyone's sake.

BL played a very good ,tough game and has lots to be proud of, Phelps on the other hand executed very poorly against pressure and played no defense till they got behind at the end. They do deserve credit for not giving up when they were down seven and looked like they had no legs. If they want to beat Valley they better throw alot better passes and defend the whole game, also need to get Riley involved she's way to good not to get touches on the offensive end. Its tournement time now girls no room for anything but your best:confused: As for the officiating BL was in the bonus the first half and had three fouls on them despite BL pressing and Phelps playing no defense. The second half after Whitt went down, with no call made they started calling tighter, since BL was pressing they obviously picked up more fouls when Phelps finally went man they got fouls called on them too.

There were bad calls on both sides of the ball.... exciting game to watch, though! There were many missed calls in the first half... and many missed in the second half!

ok... first half BL had 3 fouls called on them to Phelps's 9 3-9 does that sound fair? ok coach simply stated the fact they got 3 fouls and they are pressing! 3 Fouls In 16 Minutes when i team is pressing Is Ridiculous i would rather see a coach talk to an official than scream and play to the crowd like BL coach did. When you take the game as a whole BL had less fouls called on them at the end of the game than Phelps. Your argument makes little to no sense. and yes the officials weere horrible but not as horrible as your argument

clearly they couldnt beat BL by 30+ either..they never had a "big lead" & the so called b-team, was never in the game. BL stayed close the entire game, and also there was a post about the score being ran up if BL pressed.. obviously the press worked to BL's advantage because they got a numerous amount of steals by pressing and the score was never ran up so fast that they didnt know what was happening

I watched two times that the wrong free throw shooter shot for Phelps. The shooter made all four. I was for no one but I know what I saw.The refs had no clue!!!!!

Hey I know we have a winner and loser in every game. I was at the expo center tonight and watch This game. This game was a great game, may be the best game played in the all A. I'm just so tried of people saying it's the ref's fault. People take the blame for your team. I know personal I sure would not want to be a ref. I was at the game. My opinion is that BL had them on the ropes and the coach made a major mistake trying to hold the ball. Yes, the refs were a little confused at times but BL should have won the game. I am not from either school, just giving my opinion. BL fought very hard to get the lead then..........well they changed thier intesity.

I don't know what game your were watching but Phelps was up 16 points at one time and just blew it. They let it go, they quit playing and were making horrible horrible passes and missing easy shots. Anyone that was at this game knows Phelps obviously did not come to play, but thank God when they seen the score board with 2 minutes left to go they decided to play defense and when they actually played defense BL was stopped. As far as the refs cheating and bringing them back in the game are you serious? What more could you BL fans want look at how many times you guys stood at the free throw line compared to us. The fouls called on BL at the end of the game were not cheap you can't slap a girls arm when she goes up underneath the basketball? The refs made bad calls all night but I would have to say they made more bad calls against Phelps than BL. If you knew anything about the refs in the 15th and where they are from the one offical was from Belfry,I'm pretty sure he WAS NOT trying to help out Pruitt or Whitt. They are enemies over there now remember? So your excuses are just ridiculous.

BL you have nothing to hang your heads about, you worked your butt off and made a come back. Phelps congrats girls! Let's not let this happen next game, work your butts off and play like we all know you can.

its pretty ridiculous when a team has NO ONE in foul trouble at halftime, and after the other coach has a little talk with the refs, they have TWO players foul out. i agree both teams played pretty good, but there was some pretty bad calls called on betsy layne towards the end of the game, especially when they got a decent lead. i guess the refs had to get phelps back in the game somehow. since they were obviously too bad out of shape to do it themselves.

They really helped Phelps alright........ 3 players on Whitt's back when she's going for a rebound and nothing called after they knocked her to the floor....... BL player pushing Riley off with forearm while dribbling and when Riley kept the pressure up the BL player throws an elbow to Riley's face and the foul was on Riley..... yeah they really helped us out alright :thatsfunn
