Jesse Lucas. He is small, but has a ton of heart. He has improved so much this year. He has been thrown into the fire and held his own even against guards almost twice his size.

He is a good player...He held his own against Lawson from Millard tonight.

It was a very exciting game last night. It was a good matchup between Travis Lawson and Jesse Lucas on the perimeter. It was also fun to watch Kyle Oliver and Cody Belter go at on the inside. Both teams played hard. Nick Shortridge gave Millard a big boost coming up with 6 points in the 4th quarter.

Kyle Oliver is a great player, and Shortridge's 6 points may of been the biggest 6 of the game....Plus I was amazed of the floater Oliver made over the big kid from Dorton in the 4th.

Both teams played hard, and I was very proud of our boys. Dorton always plays hard, an gives 100%. They played a tough game, and they are very well coached.

Thanks coach. I thought both teams played really hard last night. Our record doesn't show it, but these boys have come a very long way. They are playing with more confidence and they never let up.

We do have one 7th grader playing C team, but it is just for game experience. But no 8th graders.
