The boys' basketball teams from both schools will be playing in the Laurel County Hoop Fest on Jan 23 and 24 and the games, I'm told, can be seen on the Internet. Something called Wazoo Sports will be telecasting the games live at http://www.wazoosports.com.

Boone County, ranked second in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, will play Ballard at 7 p.m. on Jan. 23. Holmes, ranked No. 1, is scheduled to play Largo (Md.) at 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 24.

Wazoo Sports does a great job with their webcasts and provide a lot of information.

I'm looking forward to the webcast because I've never seen Holmes play, and I'm actually excited about it.
