The Bluebirds beat Covington Catholic 70-54 at Highlands on Monday night. It was their second convincing victory over the Colonels this season - the other was a 58-41 win at The Bank of Kentucky Center last month - and it marked the first time in a decade they'd beaten CovCath twice in one season.
"I knew it'd been a while since we beat CovCath twice in a season," said Highlands junior Stephen Kowolonek, who led all scorers with 26 points. "It's a big rivalry, and we came out with a good intensity."
