Hazard vs. Perry Co. Central 1/16

Just wondering since Hazard broke the contract on the first game Dec 9th, and had to pay $5,000. Will the game at Hazard on the 16th still be played? Just trying to make plans to be at this one and was wondering if they will be having this one!

I see no reason this game wouldn't be played. The only reason the first game was forfeited was because Hazard was going to state in football and cancelled all basketball games, both boys and girls, that week. All other games were rescheduled but Perry refused to reschedule the game.

These two teams have such a huge rivalry it would be a shame if they didn't play, so I'm pretty confident they will. The earlier game cancellation is understandable on behalf of Hazard. Going to state in football is such an honor. My question is why wouldn't Perry Central reschedule???

I'm pretty sure they were just wanting to move it to the following Monday too, that wasn't very good of Perry to not try and work with them, but with the way their boards have been going back and forth, it wasn't surprising.

This game is scheduled to be played at Hazard's Memorial Gym and I see no reason for it not to be played there.
