PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WAT IS HAPPENING TO POWELL CO. THEY LOSE TO CORDIA WHEN THEY BEAT IN THE EARLY SEASON. EVERY TIME I SEE THEM PLAY THEY GET WORSE. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ANYMORE PLEASE SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING. IF THE X,S AND O,S ARENT WORKING THROW THEM OUT. WE HAVE BEEN PUNISHED ENOUGH. REALLY WE ARE JUST HURTING THE FUTURE OF OUR PROGRAM.:mad:

U need to not blame the players, it's the coach! He doesn't keep his team playing as a team. They don't play as a team.And when things start to fall apart he just keeps on playing and doesn't call a time out.And then he expect Creech and reed to be the whole entire basketball team. If it was not for them and a couple other players we would be even worse than we already are and that would be awful.

I agree.. Someone needs to do something. So far Coach Hall is working on running his third program into the ground i would have to say hes doing a pretty good job at it. Get a new Coach IMO

Coach Hall does a great job....he left a very successful Betsy Layne team that had a lot coming back to take over a Powell County team that does not have near the talent he left. Between injuries, boys not playing, boys transferring, what else do you expect. Powell County had its run. It has nothing to do with the coach. A coach can only do so much without any talent.

He is tearing this program down. Coach Lively was a much better coach then Hall will ever be.

As for the Cordia game, the only reason they won in the scrimmage was because they had David Hawkins. And he had way more talent here than BL until he ran off 2 of the best players. But oh well, say what you want and defend him as much as you want.

It's the coach. If he hadn't run off our best 2 players, then we wouldn't be down.

You have to remember that powell lost how many players, 3? and there still trying to pull it together, do i give them props.

well IMO, its not the coach, the team is playing as a team, if they would play as a team,they wouldn't be a bad team, cause they have the shooters and the inside men.

OH MY GOD, and why exactly do you think these boys quit and transferred. This Coach has done nothing but run this program straight into the ground. When it seems like he can't make a more stupid decision, HE DOES. I don't kow what to say about the guy.

Only started one of the normal starters in their second game today, i have no clue where he was going with that one but ended up where he has 8 times before this season. Even when the oposing team was horrible, and the officials called every thing their way, he still managed to lose, like i said the guy never ceases to amaze me!!!!

Cordia pulls above 500 on the year while PC hasn't won since their season opener agaisnt Jackson City. Good road win for the Lions!

I am not going to blame anything on coach Hall. He has done to good at to many places. He is also a very good and caring man. As for the team, the coach can not give the players heart and the want to. Cordia wanted the game more and played with more heart. That is the players fault, not the coach. That double 0 guy plays with no heart. #32 for Cordia got a rebound over him off a free throw because #32 wanted it more. The coach done what he should have done and that was not play him the rest of the game. 00 was not ready to play. Congrats Cordia for going two games above 500

I almost forgot. Cordia should have been 59 but they took two points from them. Cordia also could have played so much better.

congrats to cordia. It is Coach Hall's 1st season at Powell and I think over time Coach Hall will do a good job. A lot of coaches struggle the first year with players from another coach. I happen to know Coach Hall and can tell you know one cares more about his players than he does. He takes losses very personal and I hope thinkgs come together for him.

I TOTALLY AGREE THAT HE HAS DONE A HORRIBLE JOB AT HIS LAST TWO SCHOOLS AND I BLAME OUR ADMINISTRATION FOR WAITING TILL THE LAST MINUTE TO GIVE LIVELY THE PRINCIPLES JOB AND THEN EXPECTING TO HIRE A DECENT COACH I THINK WE NEED TO PETITION THE BOARD TO HAVE THE RULE CHANGED THAT DOESNT ALLOW LIVELY TO COACH AND BE PRINCIPLE. THAT IS A POWELL COUNTY RULE NOT A STATE RULE. AS FAR AS THE SCRIMMAGE AND WINNING BECAUSE OF DAVID HAWKINS I WATCHED THAT GAMW AND HE INJURED HIS ANKLE AND DIDNT PLAY MOST OF THE GAME. SO I CONCLUDE THAT WE WERE BETTER THEN WITH WAT WE HAV NOW THEN WE ARE NOW. THAT MEANS THAT WE HAVE LOTS OF TALENT WE JUST NEED SOMEONE WHO DOESNT JUST KNOW X,S AND O,S BUT CAN TEACH AND COACH THEM OR SOMETHING ELSE. HE STICKS WITH NOTHING AND GIVE ME A BREAK LETS START 4 FRESHMAN AND 1 SOPHOMORE SURPRISE ON WHO IT WAS AND THEN LOSES BY A SMALL MARGINE AND EXPECTS THE PLAYERS TO RESPECT HIM AND DO WHAT HE WANTS THEM TO. BELEIVE ME I AM NOT BLAMING THE PLAYERS AT ALL. I THINK THE FACULTY IS TO BLAME FOR NOT GIVING LIVELY THE PRICIPLE JOB SOONER SO THEY COULD GET A RESPETABLE COACH. OR JUST CHANGE THE RULE THAT LIVELY COULD DO BOTH AFTER ALL IT IS NOT A STATE RULE ITS A POWELL COUNTY RULE. AND YES I AGREE HE EXPECTS CREECH AND REED TO BE THE TEAM AND I HAVE HEARD ON MANY OCCASIONS HIM SCREAMING AT CREECH FOR NOTHING OR EVEN SOMEONE ELSES MISTAKES AND WHEN YOU DONT USE YOUR 90% FREE THROW SHOOTER FOR TECHNICALS AND USE REED INSTEAD WELL THATS JUST STUPID.
