UK released thier 2007 schedule, the first year that they wont open the season with Louisville. They open the season with Eastern Ky, they play the Cards the third game of the year. Other non conference games are Temple and Florida Atlantic.

tryin to get some wins seems like Smile
#3
Maybe they can win a couple.
#4
That was probably the plan...still can't believe that they moved the UL game to week 3 :mad:
#5
I can't believe they moved the UL game to week 3 either... I always liked that it was the season opener

They have a pretty good home schedule.. Louisville, Florida, Tennessee, and LSU usually have a good team.. I may be buying season tickets
#8
Looks like they could be bowl eligible by that schedule. It only takes 6 wins.

Where are the 6 wins going to come from???????????????

EKU W
@Temple W
UL L
FLA Atl W
@Ark ?
@So. Car L
LSU L
Florida L
MSU W
@Vandy W
@Georgia L
Tenn L

Swing game at Arkansas unless they can upset South Carolina on the road. It would help if they pull one out against Louisville. I don't see the Cats winning against: LSU, Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee.

My guess: 5-7

UK has a very good chance of improving a lot before these games are even played.. but I agree it will be tough for the cats to beat LSU, Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee.. but hopefully they will get some more good players by then and have a winning season

Well obviously they will be better next year. They are young this year and will get smarter and stronger by next year. They took UL to the wire this year. I agree, I think they could possibly, next year beat arkansas, SC, and maybe even UL. I think they could possiblu upset one of the major SEC teams you spoke of. They "almost" do every year, but in the past have choked. Last year it was tenn, year before that it was Florida, year before that the LSU game.. :confused: Hopefully these group of Cats can learn how to finish out a game.

Im not losing hope this year. Im hoping they can pull 6 wins this year and get us to maybe the motor city bowl..

Lets go Cats!

2002 - UK was ahead of LSU in Lexington, lost in the final 15 seconds on a hail mary pass

2003 - UK was up on Florida in Gainesville 26-14, lost in the final 6 minutes

2004 - UK was ahead of Tennessee in Knoxville, lost game with 26 seconds left

Then theres the upset win over Bama in 1997.

I believe UK can pull the upset of any team at any time.....
#14
SW I agree I was thinking 5-7 also. But hopefully they will pull off an upset.
#15
If they can pull of an upset or two could be playing in a holiday bowl
#16
Could and I hope but don't think it will happen.
#17
Nice looking sch.
