This should really be about "in game" dunkers.. You got lots of kids that can take a 35 ft. running go and squeak it over the rim 2 outta 10....... I say we drastically reduce the field...........Name people from your team that has more than 1 dunk in live game action!

Agreed, it's easy when you don't have to worry about it being contested. To me, 2pts. is 2pts. Dunking doesn't make a basketball player.

Another great player in the 14th is definatley Tyler Mullins also from PCC, looked to be a phenomenal basketball player, really knew the game. Also very well conditioned, i dont remeber him coming out much vs. Estill. I remember last season when we played them, he hit like 11 out of 12 threes and not to metion windmilled on a fastbreak, as a sophamore. D1 guy IMO...

When I watched PCC play i wasn't impressed with him at all, the only players that showed me any talent was Noble and Maggard. I don't know if he was having an off day but I didnt see much from him at all as for D1 guy i don't think thats happening either. Yea he can throw it down but there are plenty of people who can do that but doesn't even get a shot at D1

Yeah thats true but someone that can dunk can change the momentum of a game instantly and can get the crowd into the game as well.

I agree that it can get the crowd involved, but against a good team it won't have any effect on their overall play. Go to Lexington or Louisville and play those teams when dunking isn't an uncommon thing like it is here in EKY, it won't have any effect on their game....same thing is evident in the state tourney.

South Floyd dosent have any big guys that can really dunk the ball....Dylan is probly the only one....the others shoot lay ups and grab the rim

Dylan Langdon can dunk and Shannon Turner throws it down easy. We got a guy in PE class that can almost grab the net but he is always a bit tardy. He's a dandy paintballer though.

roger damron is prob. the best dunker in the 15th. he's only about 5'11 and he can sky....it's fun to watch him in warm ups...last year at breathitt co. he dunked over a kid...so imo roger is the best dunker

Devan Adams has three dunks so far this season... In games. I would say that probably makes him the best dunker in the region. Has anyone else in the region even dunked in a game?

Dunking in warm-ups is differant than in a game,not many take the chance in games,lots have chance but just puts it in softly. Dont think many coaches like see ball pop out in stands,reather see 2 points than ball in air off back of the rim.
Breathitt County has 3-4 that can stuff it in warm ups,Congelton,Taulbee,Fugate,and Ritchie seen none do it in live game tho.

Justin Jones dunked on the first play in the Hazard-Manuel game on Saturday night. It was a really nice dunk and got the crowd fired up right from the start! I have seen him dunk in several games last year, as well.

Darrin Ballou in game. You dont see many dunks in high school games. I have watched about 6 or 7 games in the Lex Cath tournment this week, havent seen any dunks!
