Hardest Place To Play
#31
LOOKAYANNER Wrote:Cordia is a tough place to play. The gym sits down in a hole. And it doesn't seat many people. You dress downstairs in classrooms. I've seen several teams make the climb back up the steep steps after leaving the gym with their heads hung low after being feasted on by the Lions.

Elliott County

shelby valley no doubt because fans are really cheering now that they are high ranked in the state
#34
With a sold out crowd Phelps is close to the top

You wanna talk about tradition...Memorial gym has to mentioned.....it may not be extremely tough on some regular home game...but when a rival or a top team in the state walks through the door its one of the loudest most intimidating places to experience

Shelby Valley hasn't lost at home since February 2004 against Lexington Catholic.

They are 49-2 at home since the 2003-2004 season.

It goes back farther than that though......

Shelby Valley is 101-8 at their home court since the start of the 1999-2000 season.

That is very impressive.

paintsville is small and loud

The past couple years, I would say Elliott Co, they pack that place and then there is standing room only.
#39
Knott Co. when the pep section is fired up.
#40
Again I say Powell Co, although they may not be a very High Ranked or good team, their fans are crazy, and are behind them all the way.

paintsville and p-burg...
these gyms are always tough, they have great crowds..
although every gym is tough to play in at times these 2 places always bring it.

i just wish LC's fans was as consistent as paintsville and p-burg

i hate playing at kcc and perry county, its tough to come out with wins

Back when I played it was Hazard.

I also have to say Hazard and Perry Central. Both have amazing student sections and carry great fan support.
