It's been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning for much of Central KY.

Eastern KY, you guys are under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Here they said anywhere from 1 to 4 inches of snow and ice.

The warnings were put into place based on the amount of ice the bluegrass is expected to receive. The further north you go, the more snow you will see. Here in Eastern KY, it looks like mainly an ice even early Tuesday morning with heavy rains following the next few days.

MCA is the only school on a delay (2 hours) or closed in EKY so far. Maybe they are anticipating the bad road in the morning.

Come on snow!!!

Not many school closing at all in the state of Kentucky. Guess it hasn't hit anywhere yet.

As of 7 AM this morning, WKYT said they had over 230 closings (that's school and businesses). I don't think the worst of the storm came until around/after 4 AM and that's probably why there weren't many closings at the time.

Currently in Richmond, we have about a quarter inch of ice under a dusting of snow. I just went outside to start my car and I could have ice skated over there.

EKU is on a two-hour delay, but UK is still on regular schedule. Just to note, Lexington is worse off than Richmond, but it's finals week and UK refuses to cancel any exams.

I guess I get to see how awesome I-75 is this morning. Unfortunately, work was not cancelled...we'll see if I can even get out of the parking lot.
