This one really sounded like a good ballgame. Much closer than the score would indicate.

I agree.
I decided highlands really makes points off turnovers, haha.
Turnovers decided the game last week against Whitley, they wouldve more than likely lost if whitley would not have turned it over. Sounds like that mightve been the case here too. Highlands gets lucky, haha jk.

This week it was more like the Bryan Station game than the Whitley game as it was Highlands turnovers that kept Christian County in the game. Birds turned the ball over twice deep in their own territory which turned into Christian's only scores of the first half.

Critical play in the game was the TD reception by Gold..... evidently it was a clear incompletion that was ruled a TD.If that gets called incomplete who knows how the game ends up playing out. Major momentum shifter.

Nah, I was at the game and on the sidelines. The big screen replay was very inconclusive because of bodies moving in the way of the camera angle. Ref probably had the best view (he was probably within 10 if not 5 yards of the reception), but even then because of how the receiver went down to try and get under the underthrown ball, it was probably hard for him to see. I'll say this: he didn't hesitate to call a TD at all. And I'll say one other thing: any one who said they could conclusively determine from watching the replay that he didn't OR did catch the pass is full of baloney.

Congrats to Highlands, they traveled extremely well for the championship and it was like a home game for them I thought. Highlands seemed to struggle a little bit in pass defense and turning the ball over, but made the proper adjustments to get the job done.
