I still believe Phelps should be in the Top 20.

How does Breathitt Co. drop when they have not lost a game and beat Johnson Central who is #4. Seems the voters on here put way to much into how many points you beat people by in Dec. That is the only way Clay Co. could jump over a team that doesn't have a lose yet.

I recognized ALL things that are being said in this thread with MY vote. These rankings are just the average of ALL votes however and my rankings are only a portion of that equation.

Phelps has games the 12th, 16th, 18th, and 20th. If they can pull some wins out against the right teams, then they will start turning some heads. I was as excited as anyone to see how the new team would come together under a new coach. Basically I was expected a lot that Phelps has yet to deliver. A 24 point loss in the only game they have played so far and last season's stats are the reasons that Phelps hasn't broke into the top 20. East Ridge is 3-0 (5-0 I believe if you count their scrimmages) and they aren't up there either. They've yet to beat the teams necessary to earn a spot, same goes for Phelps.

I don't think that Pike Central will turn out to be the team this early in the season that everyone thought they would be. I've heard that are having some problems coming together as a team but if Phelps gets the win over them then you should be seeing them in the top 20 next week.

Phelps definitely has the potential to be there ! Holding them back were thier number from last year! They are really good right now!!!!!!!!!

Breathitt Co. and Clay Co. play in Jackson tonight winner will be the top team in the mountains without a doubt. Should be a very good game both teams won at their home floor last season. Both lost 2 starters from last season.
2 of the Top underclassmen in the state will be on the floor tonight in KENDALL NOBLE AND WHITNEY BELLE JACKSON should be fun to watch. Both of these teams have done a great job so far this season of playing good teams and both of them will be playing at Lexington Catholic's Tourny this weekend this type of schedule only makes you better in the long run.
