I believe the person you are aiming this post is a Pike Central Hawks fan, not a Louisville Central fan..

The fastest time at the combine last year was a 4.23 ran by the back from East Carolina, now a Titan. But Central is fast. I just thought your numbers were a little better than what they should be. I would say most are under 4.6, but not down that fast, they are still high schoolers. Most defenders at least. The o-line would be slower. But the d-line of central might have one or two that run a over 5.0 40 yard dash and one of them is going to UK next year, and was all-state as a junior, Mister Cobble.

I didn't say the whole team was that fast. I would have guessed the fastest player would be a 4.3. Being in high school has no barring on how fast a player can be. Like I said, David Jones clocked a 4.28 at the team Nike camp his senior year.

What position does the Jones kid play and what year is he?

Does he play for UK? I am a hoosier fan so I don't really know who plays in the bowls yet. There is no need for us.

David does play for UK and he is a senior. As far as position I think he plays on defense at the position of corner.

No way he ran a 4.28 it was in the 4.4 range..

Exactly. He was around 4.4 at the Nike camp. According to all reports I have heard, he was second-fastest at that camp. Now at UK, he is faster. He told me himself, in the press box at Belfry, that he ran 4.30 and 4.31 at Pro Day this year at UK. Now, back to the game. Breathitt plays Central tough, but the Jackets win 35-21. Good Luck to the Bobcats.

well this game sounds just like the belfry game. it will be close the first quarter or maybe half but belfry wins. well guess wat everyone was wrong there wasnt they. BREATHITT will win this game. i dont say by a big margin because i know central has a good team. everyone talks about the speed of central well that just adds to the impact of a big country boy laying a hit on them. they are not playin city teams now that dont know how to hit. ask any team that has played breathitt this year they can hit. at harlan everyone said harlan would blow breathitt away but we came out and laid the pads to them. all i say is the city boys better be ready to rumble come 3:00 friday.

Central is 14-0 since the new 3A realignment. They have never lost a 3A game in the two years they have been in 3A!
