Good game.. Tate Cox is my hero!!!

Wow this is great, not to start anything in no way....but I really think that Kcc will be state bound this year. Just my opp, good luck to all teams...way to the patriots. Letcher keep those heads up.

This game could have been a lot worse had KCC made more of their free throws. I believe they ended up shooting 22-42 from the line. I don't know exactly what Letcher's FT shooting was but I know that was a big part of them staying in this game. If anyone has those stats I would appreciate it if you could post those. Thanks!

Congrats Kcc, great game, great atmosphere, good win for the patriots

Sounds like a great game. The 14th region is stronger from top to bottom this year than it has been in several years. I look for KCC to be in the hunt. LCC is going to be very competitive too.

Great Game. Extremely Exciting. I Can't Wait For The Next Matchup After The Football Players Get Theitr Bball Legs. Cox And Stamper Are A Tremendous Duo. The 53rd District Has To One Of The Strongest In The State.

Great road win for the Pats. By looking at some of the stats, with KCC shooting 42 fts. and I don't know about Lcc, IMO this was a very physical game. Both Teams having deep benchs were a plus in this game. LCC will improve as the season progresses and players adapt to Basketball from football.

Looks like the pee brained coaches beat those LCC wizard coaches pretty good. Way to go KCC and pee brains.
12-10-2008, 12:07 PM
With The Transfer Of So Much Brain Power From Jbs(coaches Cox And Davis) I Am Sure The Kcc Iq Must Have Been Improved Above Pee Brain.

One of the best games in a while. VERY awesome atmosphere. It was loud, just like a district or region tournament. Both pep clubs were great. Thats what i like seeing these days, students supporting their teams. I know that has to make the players more fired up. My cousin plays for a girls basketball team and it would be nice if the students got into their games a little more.
But congrats KCC, very nice win!!

Tate Cox will finally get to show how good he is this year. Good to see him have that kind of game. Great young man. This was two good teams that will be in contention for the regional title this year.

Yes, sprained ankle!!

Also, congrats to KCC on the win over a solid LCC team!! Good luck to both the rest of the season.

24 FTs compared to 42. That makes a difference. I hate when people say how unfair that is. I mean sure sometimes it may be, but a foul is a foul and last night was a rough game. I know one thing though, Tate Cox makes all the difference in the world. KCC is tough anyway, but without Cox, LCC would have one easily. Probably by 15 or 20!

This was a great game!! Congrats Patriots:notworthy

I totally agree. I always thought Cox was the true star on the JBS teams of the past couple of years. He was just shadowed. Now he will be able to shine.
Don't get me wrong, I think Clark was a good player as well. The coaches just didn't use ALL the weapons they had. I honestly believe they had a great shot to do something really special if coached right.
12-10-2008, 06:21 PM
Congrats to KCC. Considering that LCC has had only 5 practices with their entire team (football playoffs) they played pretty well. Hard to overcome 42 free throws vs. 22. Look for a "good un " the next time they meet. Cox is the man for KCC it seems. Should be a great district tournament. Good luck to both

I just see there being a problem with Tate and Stuart Stamper. Stamper was used to being the star and now he is taking a backseat to Tate. I see that becoming a problem as the season goes on

They have no problems playing together. Both guys will have their ups and downs.
