I hope Channing shows his skills off and runs for about 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. I wish Breathitt County the best.

I also hope that Channing runs all over Central so maybe he and Breathitt will start getting some respect.

they do get respect but they can be a better team then what they are they have the talent to score all over people but they just rely on one person... they could of had one of the best quaterbacks around if they would have gave him the chance and they had wr that could catch.

What wide outs are you talking about? If your refuring to #80, he is a freshmen stepping up and making huge plays. Yeah he has dropped a few ball here and there but that comes with the territory. Even TO droppes passed. The other wide outs have great hands. You must be a Belfry fan. No I understand why your such a hater. Its okay man, there is always next year for you all.

thats what im talking about they have great hands but a qb that is better then most you can find around here and they could score alot more if they would just mix it up more and if they dont do that then they will lose to central yeah he can run but a team like central and the experience they have you cant run the ball everytime

They are playing in the state championship. Apparently the coach has assembled the best players in the appropriate positions. I'm not from Breathitt Co. either. They didn't get this far by being a one man show. Apparently each member of this team has an assignment and a role on this team. Fugate happens to be the one that runs the ball and he does it exceptionally well. Haddix can throw the ball when called upon to do so and has proven it on the field. Congrats to the kids who stuck it out and did what they needed to do to get this far. Even the ones who work hard in practice as the scout team and push their starters to be better are to be congratulated.

Im pretty sure that we dont run the ball all the time. Breathitt hasnt really had to pass this season, with Channing "Big Horse" Fugate we dont need to rely on our passing game as much as we have in the past. But trust me its still there, and Im sure you will see that in the game against Cnetral.

yeah but they really have not been playing people this strong... when you get to tougher teams and play them like this you need to have more mixed up offense... they have the people to do it like jade he is a smart qb and has a really good arm to be stuck at somewhere that barley runs the ball

look i give you all respect for making it this far but you dont get that im saying you all could be alot better then what you all are.

Yeah I agree, we could be alot better. But we did make it this far, and Im sure that during this game you will see the best Breathitt football team this year.

This is guaranteed to be a great football game if the Bobcats keep getting it done on offense and defense!
Breathitt is going to bring it back to the mountains, I wish them the best of luck!

i guess it is better that breathitt won than belfry, because face it belfry is a running team. breathitt is more run oriented, but we do have a really good passing game, that belfry is no where near. there fore breathitt will be the better choice against central because we mix it up more than belfry.

the key to breathitt winning this game is overall play of the offense, everybody saw what happened in the 2nd half against belfry they shut bhs' offense down but belfry's offense couldnt take advantage. Imo i think that breathitt should pass just a pinch more you know just mix it up a little bit, i can probally gurantee that play action plays would work real good against a team that is focusing on channing.
12-07-2008, 10:56 PM
Go breathitt!! i think that if our boys play as good as they did when we played belfry i think we have a good chance of bringing home the trophy!

Breathitt

may mix it up more but you all need to do it more then you all already do... but belfry has a better defense then breathitt

We have 5 or 6 GOOD receivers.

If the Bobcats play a perfect game they will only lose by 3 TDs. Less than perfect, it's over before halftime.

Thats a bold statement. What makes you say that?

Central Repeats.

I believe Breathitt can pull it off because they have been on a roll this year and have something to prove, plus, I always want those mountain teams to win over any Louisville or Lexington or any big city school.

well IMO they didn't really play that well, the turnovers is what hurt belfry in that game, 2 fumbles, an interception and a turnover on downs in the redzone. They are going to have to bring their A-Game in this game against Central. Good Luck Bobcats. Make the mountains pround and bring it back boys!

I have seen Central live and in person. Size and speed like Breathitt has not seen all year.

And i personally feel breathitt wants it more than any other team around. Plus breathitt won in 1996 then in 2002 thats 6 years. now its 2008 6 years later maybe karma plays a role in this game.

As have I. Speed can be contained by having Centrals running backs cut back into the heart of our defense.
