I take gotta take breathitt again in this one. Hopefully our passing game will be more successful this week then it was at belfry. we had a couple of oppourtunites for huge plays-passing wise, that fell through. such as when j fletch beat # 5 beat deep and had the ball in his hands and dropped it. he usually does then then rebounds with huge catches, but not last night. hopefully we can pass it better and of course let the "big horse" do his thing on the ground. go BOBCATS

Something that shocked me at the Belfry game is how belfry didn't have but 6 in the box for pretty much the entire first half. I think thats why Channing jumped out and had such a big first half. Having said that, Walking to the bathroom I heard a few belfry fans, saying *might as well pack it up, they can't come back.* I knew belfry would make it a great game. Congrat's to Belfry on a wonderful season(nice to see belfry/breathitt's rivalry renewed).


Breathitt's defense has really improved over the past few weeks, and I agree with the speed of Central. How do you beat speed??? You contain it....If Breathitt can make Central cut back into the heart of their defense I think Breathitt has a great shot. One thing about Breathitt is that they are well coached. Coach John Paul Chapman is the best defensive coach in the state in my opinion for game planning and breaking down film and he will have his defense ready to go. Breathitt's offense needs to keep doing what it's doing. I never thought for one second that Breathitt would beat Belfry by running the ball. Breathitt was the more physical team last night. I have said enough, lol, prediction....

One more thing. Jade Haddix has done something that no other quarterback has ever done at Breathitt. Take a team to state as a junior. I know that doesn't mean much, but hey lets give him some credit. Without the threat of him throwing the ball Breathitt might be home right now. Look for a big game out of him this friday. Lets go BOBCATS!!!!!

Kyle was a sophmore. I'm not saying Jade is the youngest. I'm just saying out of the 4 trips Breathitt has now made, Jade is the only *junior*[QB to lead them to state. He deserves more credit than he gets I think. He gets to add his name to Breathitt quarterbacks who have made the trip to Louisville...Not to bad in his first year as a starting quarterback.

Breathitt comes into this game with a perfect record in State Chamionship games. I dont think that, their record will be tarnished. The bobcats will be able to pass on on Central and when they back off hand the ball off to one of our backs in the backfeild. Breathitt wont do what they did to Corbin last time they were at state, but the do win this one. No score predicted at this time.

I think the most talented team won last week!!! Breathitt was laying the pads on Belfry and those RB's wasn't running to hard late. That is the Key to the game this week is laying the pads on the speed and they won't be running as fast at the end of the game.

For the record....IMO, had Belfy advanced....my prediction would be no different.....I simply think Central's size, strength and overall quickness is too much to overcome....especially with this being a "home game" for them. No traveling necessary.

They had enough heart last year. I don't suspect that this year will be any different. You can have all the heart in the world but if you don't have enough horses heart alone will not win a game.

I agree. If Breathitt can move the chains and play some ball control it may be close for a while. However, if they struggle to move the ball...like they did in the 2nd half againt Belfry......this game could get ugly.

I think Central's D will over power the Bobcats offensive line. They will be too physical for them and will win back to back state titles

Belfry's team last season was very good and was considered by many the favorite to win that game.....I hope Breathitt can pull off the win, but it will be tough........Where can I here the games online? I will be working that day and will not be able to attend........
