It start with the school, if the school is behide the teams. Then they have have to start winning, to get the town behide the team. When you get the town behide you, good things will start happen. (Before all of this to happen, the players have to think they are going to go out ever week and win.) If you think that you are going to win. I am not telling you go be like Hazard or some of the teams around here, play any one/every one. Start off with some easy teams, then work your way up to the better teams.

The problem is with the offense. Spread itout and throw the ball all game. With the receivers they have they could run this typeoffense and be successful. You cant run the ball up the middle anymore. That era of football is over.

Hope Belfry doesn't read this they might have to start passing so they can win. ha ha

That is not at all the answer. Belfry, Russell, the old Lawrence County(before the became a passing team). All these teams are run dominated teams, yes they pass on occassion but for the most part they run the ball because that is the same offense they have been running for decades, and that is what it takes. Everyone knows what is coming when you play these team, but they do it with such execution that still no one can stop them, and another reason they even became a run dominated team is because of the QB. Lets face it how many Tim Couch's come through this part of the state year in year out? Not too many, and in order to throw the ball you have to have a consistent quarterback who can throw up and down the field. That is very hard to find, first they must be somewhat tall, they have to have a good arm, and they must be able to throw it to various amounts of recievers consistently, and that just doesn't happen in this part of the state. Teams run the ball because of that, but the difference in the successful ones and the ones that fail, is execution!!!

Wow that very good post, but one thing that will be hard to do @lc is âexecuteâ with the offense that has changed so much in the past due to the coaching changes. Hopefully this coach will not get ran off and they will stick with what ever offense that works for lc and maybe be like Belfry or Russell. It wonât happen over night.

All joking aside I still think they should consider giving up the football program and switch to soccer.

Soccer is the way to go Lewis could be competetive in it.Or at least I think they can.

If lc would bring soccer in lc would have to get a coach from outside of county. Because of it being a new sport. In a few years the coach would be ran of by you know :notworthy âWHOâ:notworthy If you know what I mean.
