No they would not. But Knox needs to stay positive and believe that this time will be different. I would love to see a well played football game.

KC 21 Bell 17

Jumper...21-0 is all they wanted???? When I hear, "all they wanted", I think of 14-13 or something like that. Jumper get out of the briar patch it is clouding your vision.

What you seem to be overlooking is that Bell is MUCH better now as well. Bobcat's defense shutout Knox in game one.....they are a much stronger defensive unit now....starting several underclassmen. Also Bobcat offense was put on shelf for game one.....Bell is a multi-dimensional offensive team and all the stops will be pulled on Friday night. Should be great game, but the REAL Bell team will show up.

KC 21 Bell 17

Battle tested by whom exactly????

As said before Bell has practices that are harder than most games or most teams. :ChairHit:

The 1st team offense goes against the 1st team defense very often. That is tougher competition than what they see on Friday nights.

Go ahead Knox fans and kids yourself and think Bell has not played anyone. We will see how you feel after Friday night. :devilflam

If we could pick between Bell and Knox, we would much rather play Knox this week for the regional championship. Playing Bell got us ready for the rest of the season. We could have played Bardstown Beth. or someone else other than Bell, But we use that game for a measuring stick, our neighbors we soon go 10-0 regular season than get tested by one of the best teams in area.

Great post and I agree 100%. Whitley has a bunch of Fans in Bell Co. we are all pulling for the Colonels this week and the next 2 weeks. We are very glad they play us year in and year out. It only makes both teams better.

The Whitley game was a complete game by Bell played well from start to finish. The players and coaches have tons of respect for the WC program.

It's very easy to respect a head coach if he has this type of attitude. Most don't. We will see how long whitley stays on Bell's schedule.
We certainly wish the WC players luck this week.

Bobcat_Dad Wrote:I think Knox made sure Bell would be ready with some of their actions in the last meeting very unsportsmanlike and very disappointing in the Coaching staff. I think the Bobcats will come and play very hard and take care of business. Played the 2nd half tonight as well as any Bell team I have seen in years maybe ever. Totally dismantled a team that play Rock very close in the regular season.

Did you realize the meeting between Coach Hilton and Coach Mills at midfield during a time out was a unanimous decision between the two NOT to shake hands after the game? This was because they agreed the game was heated and would be best to end it like that. There has always been friendship off the field between the two but every game on the field will be heated and competitive. Its in their blood. Don't be so fast to down one side or the other as I know each well and both are super guys.

The first time we played, BC put forth its second worst performance of the year. This is a game that I really feel that the BC kids will wanna make a statement in. ONE POINT GAME, 6 days and we shall see.

Not taking anythinig from Bell- but maybe there is a reason this was your second worst performance this year??? Maybe Knox is closer to your level than most you played? I believe Hilton's own comment was "had to fake a punt to even score on them" after the first meeting.
Your schedule hasn't been the toughest in years if you look at it. Bell has the advantage Friday night but don't think Dudley isn't spending time with the midnight oil for nothing.

Bell with the advantage but will pull for Knox. #1 teams do get beat every now and then

well maybe knox pulls a upset, but i doubt it

2 more days and everyone will not what is the truth in this meeting. KC is not on that level yet.

Trenches did you not know 1 TD equals 21 in Knox Co.????

Seems that Bell had the ball late in KC territory and just attempted to run out he clock instead of scoring??? Am I correct???

Bell typically runs only an extremely conservative part of their offense against Knox every year. Main reason is that Rockcastle is the next week, and Dudley does not like to show too much early on unless necessary. The Bell offense is hitting on all cylinders....and has a lot more than "fake punts" at their disposal! Look for all to be unleashed tonight. Bobcats have not played Knox Central at this level.....no more "Mister Niceguy" tonight! Oh yeah, Knox was one of EIGHT teams that DID NOT SCORE on a Bell defense that is much more mature and stronger now than when they first played.

Bell 41 Knox 0
