These rankings are a lot better IMO than the Cantrell Rankings that were in the LHL, which were a joke. The Massey Rankings have always been the rankings that I think gives the best indication of where a team really stands, though it is still early in the seasson and there will be teams that will be rising and dropping. IMO by week 6 or 7 you will be able to get a real good read on where teams stand but these are the best out right now IMO.

By season's end the Massey Ratings are ALWAYS the best rating system in the state of KY IMO. As a matter of fact they look pretty darn good as it is right now.


Something that caught my eye is that Belfry plays the toughest schedule in the state in 2A and also is rated as the #1 defense in 2A somehow despite giving up 43 to Henry Clay.

Giving up 43 points to Henry Clay this year is nothing to be ashamed of....Pikeville and Belfry are looking real good right now and I like the chances of 2 regional titles coming back home to Pike County.
