Do we not have anymore good grade school coaches? I don't know of a coach that just teaches the basics. I don't know if it's they don't know how to, or just don't really care about teaching the game of basketball. This is why the 58th district has been down, in terms of region basketball the last few years. It all starts with feeder schools. I also think that the high school coaches should take more of an interest in the feeder systems. Just my opinion!

I think the score of the A team game was 53 - 41, not positive on final but the final margin was around 12 points. Allen Central is a much improved club.

I believe that the final score of the A-team was 54-30...Betsy Layne winning

The championship game final margin was around 12 points. Betsy Layne led 30 - 22 at halftime and got on a run in the 3rd quarter and pushed the lead out to 16 or 17 and Allen Central made a few runs at them but could never get it under 10 in the second half.

AC was in the final, because that's right where we are predicted to be. We will have the last word come county tournament time. Are the Bobcats in the Shag Campbell, because we might just see a Rebel rising then and a Bobcat fall out.

Dont get me wrong, I think AC is a good team. But I really dont see any1 competing with them A or B team. I wouldnt mind to see AC beat them, but I just think Betsy Layne is just flat out better than any team in this county (A and B team that is)

Ac was in the final because it was THEIR tournament lol, I wouldn't doubt if they got an EASIER side of the bracket rather than having 3 other top teams in their side, like Wesley, Adams and Betsy Layne.

Floyd County Basketball has just started and a lot of you think the bobcats are already in the lead. We got the entire season yet to go, so don't count your chickens before they hatch. There are lot of other good teams in this county and we have just as much talent as the BL bunch does. Our team will come together and the county championship will be ours. Oh yeah and we do host the RBC, and yeah who wouldn't set theirselves up in the bracket to make it to championship. I'm sure BL would have only have taken the high road.lolk
