Read this on ESPN earlier. They plan on offering him the largest contract for a pitcher in baseball history. Also, they told that they are also going to pursue Derek Lowe, and AJ Burnett. I thought I also remember reading that they were going for Peavy too, but I'm not sure about that.
If the Yankees pick up these pitchers, that would be absolutely amazing. Not surprising though, since they do have the largest payroll ever.lol

if they are able to get all 4 to sign... The Yankees will make the Al look horrible. They will just be to powerful for anyone just like the Boston Celtics in the NBA

Deal was worth 6 years for $140 million. No wonder the economy is in shambles.
