Bryan Station @ Highlands (5A 1st round)
#1
Didn't see a thread for this game but did see one for most others so I thought I would add this.

I think Bryan Station is going to be one of the toughest 1st round playoff games Highlands has seen in quiet some time. Bryan Station has a big athletic looking DL.
#2
Highlands by 4 td's. I think though that Bryan Station is a good game for them in the first round instead of dixie heights or doss.
#3
highlands will win this one fairly easily.
#4
Is there anyone out there that has an opinion on this game that has actually seen both Highlands and Bryan Station play?

Ive not watched Highlands in person but i have seen them on the net which prolly dont do them justice but i have seen Brian Station and these kids are big strong and fast and have came a long way. Very improved, the back #3 is small but very very very fast and can run over u as well as around u. Shouldnt be that close but anything can happen on a given night and with as much talent that Brian Station has??????? It's hard to say anything until game time.

But The BlueBirds in a big way IMO!

Thanks, I have seen Bryan Station on tape and they look big and athletic. Although I sometimes think it is tuff to tell a team from tape because I'm not always sure about the competition they are up against.

I know most are picking Highlands but after seeing the tape, I'm having a hard time figuring out some of the predictions of a Highlands win by 4 or 5 TD's. I'm hoping Highlands wins this one, but like I said earlier, I think this is going to be a tuffer game than most are predicting.

I haven't seen Highlands play. I have however seen Bryan Station play and i believe they could give any team fits.
#10
Going to go with, Highlands 41, Bryan Station 14.

No Way! This team is nowhere near the teams HHS has played the last two weeks or have the played the schedule of the last two teams. HHS wins easily.

Tradition is a major league sandbagger.

Highlands with relative ease.

BS is a good team, but not nearly good enough!
#20
49-21 Highlands

Bryan Station has some athletes and is a dangerous fist round game but Highlands is Highlands and that speaks volumes.
#22
Highlands 38 14

This could potentially be one of the better 1st round match-ups in the state. I know that Highlands played Hopkinsville and Hop-town gashed them up the gut and then had several miscues that lead to points off the scoreboard. Bryan Station is HUGE and has size, speed and the strength to play with Highlands. Will they beat them? No, I don't think so...but it could be exciting.

Station lost to Johnson Central in a big way. HHS should not have any problem.

You call a score of 35-31 big?

Bryan Station will put up a fight but i dont think they can handle Highlands. So i would say Highlands 49 and Station 28

HHS held Madison Central and Louisville Central scoreless, and those two teams are much better than Bryan Station. To think they are going to score 28 points is crazy.

I think BS is better than Central from what I've seen of BS. Hope you're right and I'm wrong, but I don't think I'm wrong. Central's O is designed to go wide, which plays into Highlands D strength which is speed, speed and more speed. As someone else posted, BS will run between the tackles and with Highlands small defensive players, have some success. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see BS score 14-21 points. We'll just score more than that and move on.
