4 td's im pretty sure

I will guess over 250 yards rushing to go with those 4TD's! I don't know, I am only guessing.

Good win for the Bobcats....Did Haddix play tonight?

Channing only had about 150 yards with about 10 rushes at most and 3 touchdowns. Cody Prichard or #34 as people call him had about 125 yards and a touchdown. Robby Huff caught a touchdown pass from Jade. Jade played at QB but was no threat running. The first half was a pretty good game. The bobcats came out the second half and put the hammer down. The defense stepped up and played. The bobcats did seem flat to me. I didnt think that had alot of emotion in the game. Breathitt cant afford to play a flat game aginst a good team. No offense to Lawerence.

Sounds like a great TEAM effort, which is what I like to see! Good win Breathitt!

It was a good team win. Channing did his thing but he wasnt the highlight he normally is. The lawrance defense played well in the first half only giving up two touchdowns in the first half. Like i said in a earlier post, the whole Bobcats teams seemes FLAT with no heartbeat. I mean it looks like they were bored and took Lawrance like they were a joke. Lawrence came out in the first half and hit the Bobcats in the mouth and woke them up alittle but not the way they should have played. Breathitt should have beat Lawrence by 60 points.

Can't win them all be 40+....This kind of effort is becoming more of the norm and it is a trend that needs to be broken quickly. The boys from Jackson need to remember that it takes hard work and intensity every game to be champions......

It was 14-6 at the half. Lawerence was running the ball very effectively and was threatening to score when the half ended. Fugate and the offense was limited by LC's ball control. Good game plan until the Bobcats took control in the 3rd quarter. LC's kids lost their composure late in the game which led to a safety. BTW, long bus rides tend to make teams a little sluggish at the start. Good luck to both teams next week.

LC came out and did what they wanted to do and that was to control the clock.. I think more teams will start to do that to them that takes away from the touched the Offense will get. LC had to many arm tackles but they never stopped playing.. Was bad effort from the offense with a freshman QB and a soph running the ball most of the game.... Had a pass that should have been caught in the endzone and should have had another one that was pass interference that wasnt called.. the DB shoved out WR out of the endzone before the ball even got there and that one is even a picture shows the ball in the air and the db shoving our wr.. Anyways no excuses we had our chances.. Bobcats are good but no as great as they think they are..

Why do people blame the refs? They call the game as good as they can. Sometimes they miss a call and sometimes they call something they dont see. Who cares, its not the refs who plays the game its the players. I was at the game and the refs did let alot of things slip but they called what needed to be called and what was the obvious calls. I dont remember a player shoving another player out. I had a pretty good view from the sideline and both teams we playing pretty chippy. I think the refs did a good job. I dont recall anyone calling the Bobcats great either. They are a good young team this year. Great no, but good yes. Now next year, do they have a chance of being great yes, but this year the only way this team becomes great is to win state and who knows that may happen. Jade is getting healthier and will be able to run within the next few weeks and that adds another threat to our offense. Our defense shut Lawrence offense down. Im not saying the Bobcats will win state but who knows crazier things have happened.

Congrats Breathitt. Keep your heads up Lawrence

Why was shepard not playing in this game? He was doing the kicking but why not any were else?

Man, My heart go out to LC with every week and no wins. It must be hard to get out of bed every morning. To the players @ LC keep your heads up for you wont be the whipping boy for ever.

Well to start with I wasnt blaming the refs I just stated the facts and was there right at the goal line.... on LC side of the field. And you never shut our offense down we were in the red zone four times and shot ourselves in the foot.....

Well to start with it takes more then just one person to win a game and he is by far a great QB and he has only tried on FG in a game.. He makes 96 % of pats... The kid can kick he kicked a 58 yard FG warming up before practice.. The kid has a strong arm and a strong leg. Dude if you have a problem with him i advise you to leave it off these boards since all you can do is hide behind your screen name.

So are we to say that Prestonsburg is not as good as they think they are because they only won by 1 against a team that they "should" have beaten much worse? Breathitt did not give LC their full attention or effort and could have beaten them much worse. Is Breathitt State title material, I do not think so, and most of the fans in Breathitt Co. know that a state title would be a long-shot. Breathitt was on cruise-control against LC and did not risk their QB or their other better players in a game that did not matter.

We did a good job at controlling the ball. Hunter James seems to be running harder lately. Chandler has an injury to his shoulder. I hope he heals up real quick. Overall, a fair effort by a team that has alot off freshman starting. Have we given up for this year and building for 2012 or 2013?

Does LC have the same QB as last season? I hear he is a very good pitcher and has a future in baseball. All kids from every team deserve the support from the fans of football. I am sure that the players that are out on the field want to win and do the best they know how to do. Good luck to all the kids that play the great game of football.

I'm pretty sure that what Batpuff is saying is that every time someone mentions Shepherd, you have something negative to post. He said if you have a problem with Chandler-which you obviously do-you should quit hiding behind a computer screen.

Shepherd has had a rough year with injuries from the get go but he never quit-not once and continued to try to play even when he was in pain.

But like everyone tries to explain to you, a team is not made up of one person-therefore one person should never saddle the blame for the whole team.

This arrogance will get you beat. 37-14 over Lawrence (no offense to Lawrence) with a 14-6 score at the half in no way legits a " see you in Louisville" remark. I think Breathitt has a legitamate shot but if you play like this and think it is a given you might be in Louisville watching from the stands.
Fugate and Haddix both played against Estill and Breathitt was not allowed an offensive touch down. I guess though you were saving it then as well.
#30
Just keep comparing scores as most people do who don't know anything about high school football. Breathitt didn't play well against Johnson Central, PBug or Estill and they got beat the first two and pulled out a tough win against Estill. So you kept Breathitt from getting a offensive TD,it was probably more their fault than yours, remember who won that game. It's not how you play early in the year, but how well you finish with a little luck on your side, to make to Louisville.
