Powell County comes back 20-7 at halftime to win a close one 21-20 for their first winning season in school history. Great comeback and win for the Powell County Pirates. Congrats on greatly improved season!!!!!

i have seen Berea play there bad look at who they have played i really thought Powell co a ok team but now i dont thank so you have to be ready to play ever week. sorry just my thought i call them like i see them

I think you are missing the point. These are kids playing a game, and they made great strides and accomplishments. To have the first winning season in school history is something for them to be proud of, regardless of who they have played. Wink

i'm sure there proud and i'm happy for them but i thought they would win big i have seen both teams play and this was a home game and they were lucky to win... I sure coach is not happy with yhe play off a couple weeks away.

i see real well and i see a Powell co team losing it late in the season thats all that beat a team by 1 point that sucks.

No need to instigate arguments. Powell played the schedule they were dealt and had the first winning season in school history.

if you just forget the first half, the score wouldve been 14-0. I dont see why every1 is hatin on Berea... The are good but small team that is quick. Congrats Powell on a great win

These kids need to be comended on doing something that has never been acomplished in Powell county history. Berea was picked to win the game and came in with an 8-1 record. Don't get on here and bash these kids who acomplished what had never been done in Powell county.

Stop being a *******! These kids worked hard and deserve being comended.
Berea was 8-1 and had several transfers from Madison Central. There is some good kids over there and I'm glad to see them winners.

How about them Powell County Pirates!! This was a GREAT game!!! Powell came back from the dead to win this. They never once gave up!! They played with tremendous heart!! Never count out Powell County. The REAL Pirates. What a way to end senior night also!! David Crowe sealed it when he picked off Berea. It was so amazing!!! Great win guys!!!

People need to be more polite here, regardless of WHO played who, how bad they beat them, or how bad they should of beat them. Powell won tonight, and it gave them their 1st winning season. Put your negativity aside and congratulate these guys, they deserve it regardless.
