I was standing on the sidelines the injury happened in front of me. The helmet to helmet hit was not intentional. But after the play was over the defensive player stood over top of the Sheldon Clark player and was celebrating the big hit. That was classless. He was flagged up . But he should have been tossed. Absolute classless. By the way the Rock looks great.

Another good outing by the Cards as Stepp threw the ball well and is showing the Cards are just not a running team. The celbration by the Rowan County player on the hit on Anderson was probably the most classless thing I have seen in high school. The kid should be suspended for his childish action. Next up its Pike Central and the winner of that game is assured of second place so the Hawks better be ready. Its great to see the Calloway children continue the sponosrship of this game in honor of their later father and brothers.

Good Game by the cards today Rowan had really only one good player and that was #32 he played himself to death. But #45 from Rowan has no class for the actions he had after he knocked Keith #11 from Sc out and was giving the suck it sign form the side lines while he was being worked on by the EMTS.
Pike Central is next on the list should be a good game.

It was a great game for the Cards. That #45 should have been ejected from the game. If the coach had any class, he would have done it himself. I can't belief how some of their fans acted. There was one lady screaming, "Now that's how you hit them." That was so pitiful. At least our boys had enough class to not react to them. They just showed them on the scoreboard. Keith is actually doing a little better today, but he could have been hurt worse than he was. Get well soon Keith and we love you.

This in from a Pirate fan. I was at the game Saturday and the place looked great. The game between Belfry and SC will be a good one. I will give you a little more analysis later. Number 45 for Rowan was a complete jerk. He should have been ejected...minimum. His coach, IMO, should suspend him for a game or games if not indefinitely. That type of behavior is out of line. I understand, that the ambulance crew had to be away for awhile, but I have a problem with the people on the field not stabilizing his neck the whole time until the ambulance could get there. It was a vicious hit and I saw it about 20 feet from where I was standing. At minimum, someone should have been at his head and holding his head to keep his cervical spine immobilized. They did not do it the whole time. Also, they need to be careful about removing a player's helmet if they suspect any neck injury until they can get a neck brace. Hopefully the player is ok, that is what is most important. BTW, I feel all teams should have neck braces available to put on players that may have a neck injury. They do no cost much, and they are simple to apply with just a little training.

Hey Cardinal Mom, did anyone just want to take that cowbell or whatever that annoying instrument was the lady from Rowan had and toss it over into the hills? That was crazy, and it really bothered a lot of people sitting near us. We finally went down to the sidelines at the half.

Hey, any word on the lights? They were telling us they should be up by the Belfry game, but I was just wondering if anyone knew anything definite.

I don't so much mind the bells and noise makers. But, I think the visiting team should sit on the visitor side. The only time the noise makers really bothered me was when they were cheering on the kid that hurt our player. Keith is like a son to me and I was ready to go hurt someone. That is the reason the kids act like that because they cheer them on for such behavior. I would love to know if anything is done to either of those players.

listening to what has been said about that RC player is crazy. just like cardinal mom said we wonder where the kids get it. Look at their family tree. get well keith
