The drawing of the crowd is exactly why they signed Turner. Not saying he won't be a great asset, but if he didntlay for UK in a basketball crazy state he would not have got a second look. After all, with pro sports, its about the benjamins!!!!!

I think its safe to say that compared to these guys on the current roster, Wayne Turner is a BIG NAME.
For the record, the roster is wiped clean after a season. The only people on this roster that have resigned with the Miners are Jason McLeish and Mike Crain, which are two very good signings. They have announced the signing of Jermaine Blackburn that played for the Yakama Sun Kings last season. So technically, they have four players. McLeish is becoming a hometown favorite too, so look out Wayne Turner!

I am excited about the signing, but I seriously figured it would be either Bobby Perry or Patrick Sparks.
