Prestonsburg travels to Ft. Mitchell to face the defending 1A state champs.

Last year Prestonsburg was so close to winning, This year prestonsburg is ALOT better, Itll be a good win but close. PRESTONSBURG all the way.

I think prestonsburg wins by 3. I really wasnt that much impressed with Beechwood. Does anyone else agree with me.

Last year we were so close to winning that one. Had the lead 24-21 with around 5 minutes to go in the game and thew an interception off of a half-back pass that went for 6 and then we had a 3 & out and Beechwood took one in from about 50-yards. Beechwood ended up winning 38-21.

Prestonsburg has the 3rd leading rusher in 2A, 2nd leading passer in 2A, and the leading receiver in 2A.

I know your young member but you have much to learn especially when you make that type of assessment when you haven't even seen them play.

Prestonsburg isnt overrated. They beat a very good Breathitt County team. If anything i believe Beechwood is overrated.

Beechwood knows how to win. Other than that the two seem evenly matched. It's probably a coin toss, but I'll take the Tigers by 7. Good Luck Pburg!

I would really like to be in attendance for this game because to me its to great smash mouth football teams going at it. But prestosburg can pass it as well so I give them the edge in the game.

i can`t stand p-burg i hope beechwood comes out and out plays them and beat them by 20.

P-burg drops a level in class, but Beechwood is a powerful team so it should be a good game. Considering that it is up there, I'll give a slight edge to Beechwood, but P-burg is a very solid team this year and has a good chance of winning this one if they are prepared. It is a good test for P-burg to see what they have got against a traditionally powerful Northern KY team.

Prestonsburg should win this one. I believe Beechwood is overated. But i did lol when someone started talking about having one of the top rushers and passers. It is true but of course their going to have good numbers. They play a very weak schedule this year. The only solid team they have played is Breathitt. Pburg needs this game bad win or lose. They need a test. Pburg did not look good against breathitt. If they would have came in some kind of shape pburg would have been in touble. So pburg needs a tough game to help them this season and i believe this one will be it.

With the return of Allen Craynon for this game Pburg will be wanting this one more than ever. I believe this one will be a shootout but i think the Blackcats will be ready to play in this one and win on a late score.

Ok if beechwood beat cov cath then u kno that they are for real.....year in and year out covcath is great they may be a lil down from the usual but still there bad years are good years to some of us! Beechwood should roll!

As much as I want Prestonsburg to win and represent the mountains of EKY....I just think going on the road to Beechwood will be too much. Prove me wrong 'Cats....but for now...

Last time i seen Cranyon play he was hesitant to hit the holes. Probally due to his injury. Hopefully he is 100%.

Just like to see P-burg to pull it out cause they are one of the few east Ky teams that has just as much talent but don't get out coached.

You guys have to remember that Beechwood hasn't been tested yet either. Yeah, Covington Catholic is a tradition rich school but they have been down for the last two years. Their fans have been calling for the coaches head. I'm not saying that Beechwood is no good or anything, because they are pretty darn good but so is Prestonsburg and they realized last season that they let one slip away and if they were to win this game it would mean a lot to them because this is a game that they want. They've been looking forward to this game for a year now and this is there chance.

This is one of the worst teams Cov Cath has had in a while.

Most of you all probably don't remember, but Prestonsburg should have beat Beechwood last year. Beechwood may be a better team this year, but I know Prestonsburg is better.
