I'm going with Belfry. In all honesty Belfry should dominate this game. Harmon can cause problems for any team but with all the respect in the world to him, he has to have blocking and this Pikeville line can't block Belfry.
Plus Pikeville has forgotten about defense and arm tackling don't get it done against good running backs with good lines.
But I do hope Pikeville gets it together in time for the playoffs.

Pikeville needs to play well in this game. I am not sure if a win is a realistic goal, but showing up and competing, something they did not do last year, would be a good start for the Panthers. Do any of the Pikeville fans have updates on the players that were banged up on Friday against AC?

I have heard that Harmon may not play. If he doesn't the score could be worse.

Rumor is that Pikeville is starting 2 Freshmen and 1 Sophomore as Linebackers.

Ivan Lee will rip them apart. I'd say he'll reach the endzone at least 5 times on the night.

The enthusiasm in the Pikeville community is down. I have talked to a bunch of people that don't even know who we play this week. Of those who do know, they aren't even going to watch the game, they are going to "socialize". This is pathetic. Pikeville/Belfry has been on my mind since the beginning of the season. Past years everyone was hyped for the game, plans for what would be done the week of school were completed weeks earlier. Now it is just going like a normal week. Until there is enthusiasm like there once was Pikeville football will not be the same. I hope Coach Copley and staff can get the programs back to the way it was, but it will also require the help of the community to back the program. GO PANTHERS!

i dont think belfry is as good as they were last year but pikeville isnt either. belfry should win big. pikeville football is down and will be for a long time to come. they lose too much to be very good for a while.

How is Harmon?
I really hope he is able to play. The kid is a competitor and has my respect. But if he is hurting then he honestly should think past Belfry into a run in the playoffs, but I know if they do sat Harmon he better not be able to walk or they better have ropes because he lives for games like this. But unfortunently Harmon can't do it all without blocking and I really don't think Pikeville can block Belfry.

I, too, hope Harmon is alright and is able to pay at 100% not only this game, but the entire remainder of the season. Daniel Harmon is absolutely a treat to watch play the game.

If harmon isn't 100% he should not play. This game means nothing but bragging rights. Pikeville needs to remain healthy for a playoff push. So no need of risking a costly injury.

For Pikeville Blitz the linebackers to Belfry's favorite wholes, and blitz the ends and pinch! Belfry cannot handle pressure in the backfield, The line is weaker on the right side, If #51 and 54 are paired or 63 and 54 are paired thats where the ball is going!!!!

Please dont ask that question!!!:eek: We've got a poster in this thread who can answer that question with what he thinks is very informative material. Belfry has lost one contributing player thus far, but IMO wasnt as important as "he" might think. Belfry will be fine, there are always younger and hungrier kids looking to step up and show their worth.

I have heard there has been some things go on here recently at Belfry....regardless though, I think Belfry will roll in this one and it has potential to get ugly!
