Hats off to Allen Central. Guys you have made us proud, wouldve been better with a win but No One had expecting you guys to come out and give Pikeville a close game. Congrats Pikeville, and a well hard fought game rebels once again you have made us proud way to show some fight.

Very exciting game to listen to. Allen Central is for real and they have nothing to hang there heads about because they showed up to play and fell a few plays short of winning this one.
Congrats Panthers!

Congrats Pikeville on the win! Sounds like AC played their butts off. Wasn't AC up 42-29? What happened after that?

I bet Paintsville is very excited about having the opportunity to win this district now. I heard earlier that Harmon went down tonight, any news on his injury.

Coach Copley will never, ever, ever coach another game without his stopwatch following the 4th Quarter of this one.

Congrats to both teams!

When you wrong admit it.... I was wrong... I called it a blow out. Pikeville is so weak on defense.... They have shown that all year. But on the other hand I guess Allen Central in weak on defense too. But a great game for the Rebels. They have may deserved to win this one.......

Great game congrats to both teams!

What about the watch... What happened??
09-27-2008, 12:35 AM
Dag Gone. I didn't expect to see this score..... Would have been nice to have seen the Rebels pull it off....

Copley apparently had his own stopwatch on the sideline during the last drive making sure that every single second of the play clock was used and maybe even a couple extra.. I mean what ref will call a delay of game when you know the coach is timing it himself HAHA
Meanwhile, Allen Central has one timeout, 1:00, and 90 yards and they choose to run the ball on two consecuitve plays...
Copley's clock management coupled with Tyler Baker's heroics won the game for Pikeville tonight.

Must have been a crazy game. I got the winning team right , but the wrong margin. Congratulations to both teams. For the Allen Central fans: How do you compare Paintsville and Pikeville after seeing them in consecutive weeks?

Question to All.
did Allen Central earn this close of game? or did Pikeville have a bad night/season

If...Then Wrote:Question to All.Allen Central earned this close of a game, this was just a track meet. If it hadnt been for a costly rebel fumble late in the game they would of pulled this one out.

That fumble hurt- but those missed extra points came back to bite hard too.

I don't know what to say about this outcome..Hats off to the Rebs!

Congrats to the Rebels on a hard fought game. Sounds like AC beat themselves. Anyway, it is apparent that Pikeville is not head and shoulders above everyone else. After being blown away at Ashland and now this, it appears that Pikeville is certainly beatable by any good team.
Can't wait to see the Paintsville/Pikeville game. AC is a very good 3 slot team that can rise to the occasion on a given week.

he kept the running game going with Harmon out. Along with Harmon you had Josh Mullins out as well as JR Robinson going down midway through the second quater. We had alot of freshmen and sophomores on the field tonight on D for us. Thats 3 core members of the D not on the field. With all three of them healthy AC doesnt score anywhere near as much as they did.
