Fleming Co. vs. Powell Co.

Tough loss for both schools. Powell looks to get back on track & Fleming is looking for their first win. If Powell wants to make the playoffs, they have to win this one. Ditto for Fleming.

I think the Pirates can & will pull out of this with a win.

I've heard that Powell County can't go to the playoffs this year because they dropped Harlan County. Is this true? If not, these two teams should have an all out war due to the fact that they'd be fighting for that last spot in the playoffs, that is of course unless something crazy happens among the rest of the district.

Powell does play Harlan County and they are eligible for the playoffs. This game could very well decide who makes it and who doesn't between these two teams. I have heard as many as 5 starters (offense and defense) could be out for Fleming. I know 2 were ejected last night, so they are out. The others went out with injuries and may not be available any time soon. Sad

The boys from Fleming seemed to be really frustrated. Our defense was really incredible. I was so proud of the Harlan Co. boys for not retaliating. They really were well disciplined on the field last night and I think that goes back to good coaching! We need every body for every game. Hope that QB gets to play next Friday. He's a good QB, it's just he couldn't do his job for our defense.

I think i will take Fleming Co. by 1 TD. that QB that came in after the Big guy is pretty good.

Powell may have a chance with these conditions; otherwise, I'd probably bet on Fleming. Sad

I think I'll take Powell in this one, just because of Fleming losing the QB. If he's back and healthy, then I'll take Fleming.

However I think it will be a tight one.

I don't think this is adding fuel to the fire. I pick us to win, just like FC fans will pick them to win.
