The turf looks very bright and colorful. The endzone make it 10x better IMO.

The best looking facility is about 35 miles east of Daniel Field.

The best facility in the region is Belfry. Ample visiting seating, Nice Visiting Dressing Room. Huge Home field house with weight room. Letcher Central does have the jumbotron, but not much visitor seating, and actually a small fieldhouse for such a nice field. Hazards field is the nicest I've seen. Johnson Centrals is nice as well. I'd say that will end up being the nicest football facility in Eastern ky.
But really, all the facilities are leaps and bounds from what they used to be. Shows your true football programs. Their respective boards are willing to put the effort into the football programs.
But I can actually say I miss those days of rolling into Death Valley to play Belfry and being on the bleacher side sideline.

Very, very, very nice field. Southwestern is supposed to be getting a similar setup in the next few years.

The first event taking place on the new field will be this Saturday, Sept. 13th. The Pride of Hazard High, the HHS Band of Gold, will be hosting their band competition this Saturday. Twenty bands from across the state will be competing. If you want a look at the field come out Saturday, listen to the marching bands perform and support the HHS Band of Gold.

Have you gotten word on if you can get regional or district at the new field. semi state would be even better. I think we got it last year. Not for sure. I know they won't award us regionals untill we get a new field. It is too small down in the old whitesburg field.

I thought they were, too, but I didn't see it anywhere. Maybe they are going to build a new one. It won't be the same without it. And thanks to everybody for all the nice comments about the field, it's greatly appreciated.

Just a great upgrade to the Hazard facility! VERY NICE..Always loved the navy blue and gold colors and it looks even better on turf. Players should feel very lucky to have the support in which the hard working people give to the Bulldog program! Again, beautiful field!

I think they are building a new doghouse on wheels to be rolled onto the edge of the field that isnt permanant because of the soccor games. This winter a permanent fencearound the edge of the field as well as the new scoreboard will be installed!! So it gets better.
