Guys I just heard about this can anyone confirm? I know Coach Jr Vanhoose and J.D are good friends and J.D. has helped Coach Vanhoose a couple time. I think it would be good for this young kid for he is a bright young man he might be in a wheelchair but he knows the game of basketball. I just heard that he might be helping JR Vanhoose with the girls this year.

To answer your question yes I will be helping Coach J.R Vanhoose with the Phelps Lady Hornest this year. I think we have a great year.
As for your message earlier where you ask Have I talk to any of the girls yet? No I have not talk to any this year yet but in the coming weeks I will be talking to them.
Do you think you will have a good team this year? Absolutely I mean we got a good bunch of girls well talented and ready and willing to play.
Do you think there is a District Champ shot for the girls? That remains to be seen. I think if the play hard, get there 110% out of them ya we got pertty good shot. But it will depend on the girls and if they want it or not we as coaches can only do is help them get ready they are the one that will make that detrimaition.
How do you feel about assiasstence coach for Jr Vanhoose? I feel great. Jr is a good person who know the game of basketball has been around the block so he knows what it takes to be a champion and he take his influnces and put into his girls.
Do they get along with you because you in a wheelchair? yes they do. When I first started out I said Coach Clay Campbell knew that I couldn't play so he gave me a coaching job. I think JR shares that samething. Its not about being in a wheelchair it about how well you know the game of basketball and your ablity to teach other.
