Everybody coming back for them is the word except 2 or 3 seniors. 9-1 at least. Breathitt being the one. They also play only 2 or 3 seniors. Look for the district to go the same way next year with Fleming coming in 4th instead of Cawood (Harlan Central).

Fleming was 4th this year. I think Estill will be tough next year, but they barely beat Fleming last year (14-7) and I look for them to be much improved also.

I think Estill will be really good next year. We return most of the starters from last year. Our starting juniors and underclassmen from this year will be more improved with the experience. We have some really good strong freshmen coming up who I think will make an impact their freshman year. Everyone has to hit the weights hard and during the off season so we don't get manhandled at the line by Breathitt again...lol

My apologies. I look for it to be the same then. In this new system, you are really not in the playoffs until the 3rd round. The top four in the district have a two week system, THEN the playoffs begin. I think it is just as bad as the BCS. I think Estill should be 9-1. If they can get in one defense and stay without changing to another they should be more consistant. Talked with a dad of one of the players who said that they had played 5 different defenses during the year.

How good can this team be this fall after a great season last year and what are the keys for Estill.

They must be better than last year because everyone else will be improved. They must improve on DEFENSE. I feel that the staff has been working hard on that. They must control the ball and not have turnovers. The district will be alot stronger this year. Good luck to Estill this season.

Absolutely loaded. The best team Estill has ever fielded talent wise, big, strong, and fast.

Does anyone actually think Estill has a chance to beat Breathitt County this season?

Are they still running that foot to foot double wing offense?

Depends on their defense and special teams. Yes they are still in the same offense.
