OffTheHook Wrote:How is this possible if he is playing as a 14 yr old? lol
Very simple!
He's been playing since T Ball starting out young and learning the basics. Never skipped a year through out t ball, minor, major and Jr League. Played Major League AND Travel Ball year before last. Played Travel, Jr League, JV and Varsity this year. As an 11 year old he went to state with the 12 year olds in 2004, again with his major league team year before last and again this year. Any more questions?

And this kid did not need to be defended in London by all those who wittnessed it and was appalled by it (from various towns) so he sure shouldn't have to be defended here to people who didn't even see it. Im sure its hard enough on him with the immature remarks made by people who dont have a clue. Let it go.

Stay calm and act like the umps aren't even there...London probably won't have the tournament for awhile, which is good. I wasn't picking on the kid, just don't give the umps any reason at all to take it from you...
They did indeed and whats so sad is that they took something from a bunch of kids whos played together for years, something they can never get back. Thats why its so very emotional, so huge to these kids. Its not like it was just a game that they can reschedual.

His coaches, teammates, family, and friends have ALL assured him that he did nothing wrong and is NOT to blame for anything what so ever!!!!!....... I agree 100% that immature remarks made about a child to whom you know nothing about OR nothing about the situtation should and would be better left unsaid!!!
Excellent posts Installer and Belfry Wins!!!......

Belfry Wins Wrote:BTW congrats to Bowling Green they were a classy bunch of kids. I don't blame them a bit for taking the victory the way they did, Belfry or any other team would have to. But they did it with much class as possible and were men enough to admit it was wrong and should have never happened. They werent clapping celebrating or nothing, that is a great ammount of class.
They were an awesome classy bunch of people! THEIR coach talked to our kids after it was all over!! They didn't like any of it either and they are still keeping in touch.

Best of luck and wishes to the Bowling Green/Warren Co. 13-14 year olds at the next level. Do your best and make all of us here in Belfry and Kentucky proud!!!

Yeah it is simple......math.
You can't play T-Ball untill your are 5 in some cases 4. So if you add 11 to either of those numbers you get 16 and 15.
Also if he went as an 11 year old in 2004, 2005 - 12, 2006 - 13, 2007 - 14 & 2008 - 15. So you see what I am saying.
According to you he was to old this season. It doesn't add up.

See this is your problem. We got beat by a better team. No cryin here. We accepted our defeat and moved on.
Accept your victory with class and accept that some of us do get along and kid around.
So grow up and let it go. This thread is "Updates" That is in the past.

Just to let you guys know. BG-WC Kentucky team has won 2 of 3 in the regionals in Ft.Wayne. They beat Ohio 11-1 in 5 innings and Indiana 6-0 before falling to michigan 12-11. We were down 8-1 and came back to tie the score 10-10- only to lose it on an error in their last at bat. We play Missouri tomorrow at 1:00 P.M. Our guys are playing really well and have a chance to win it. Wish us luck. I just drove 800 miles round trip to watch the first 3 games and am going back up Thursday for the semi-finals.

They play Indiana tomorrow at 2:30 in the round of 6. We already beat Indiana 6-0 so I like our chances of making it to the final four.
