Is anyone?

Still awake? And watching the All-Star game? Just now going into the 13th inning tied 3-3. What a way for Yankee Stadium to go out. One of the best (and longest) All-Star games ever.

The MLB All-Star game has turned into a joke!!! I'm as a big a baseball fan as anyone, and I don't even care anymore. Brandon Webb threw 118 pitches on Sunday, and he pitched an inning. Scott Kazmir threw 104 pitches on Sunday and he pitched an inning. Edinson Volquez pitched 7 innings on Saturday and he pitched an inning. According to Steve Phillips of ESPN, Brad Lidge threw roughly 100 pitches in the BULLPEN before even entering the game. It's ridiculous! You can't add players to the roster, because it would take away from the honor of being an All-Star. I don't know how to solve the problem. I realize the managers were just trying to get everyone in the game, and since it went 15 innings, everyone had to contribute. But if home field advantage is determined by the outcome, don't pitch guys like Sheets and Lee for only 2 innings...pitch them 5-6, like you would in a game that means something. And don't have guys from the Royals, Mariners, Giants, and these other "non-contending" teams play, if their respective teams aren't even gonna make the playoffs. If you ask me, it's a mess, and I don't see anything changing with Bud Selig in office.

What was up with the Marlin's 2B Uggla, he had I believe 2 or 3 errors in this one.

Uggla had 3 errors in the game and I believe only 1 hit on about 5 at bats.

That was a pretty good all star game no doubt, but the best all star game of all time HAS to be the 1994 game in Pittsburgh, when the National League's Fred McGriff hit a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game at 7, and win it in the 10th on Moises Alou's game winning double...not only one of the best all star games, but one of the best games Ive ever seen, period.

2 errors was on him but his last error was a terrible bounce right when it got to his glove. Nothing he could have done about that last one.

Yeah that last bounce was a big one and you had to feel bad for Uggla. Playing in the all-star game at Yankee Satdium and making 3 errors in the extra innings. A game he would love to forget quickly.

Uggla certainly had a night to forget. Like you all said, he had 3 errors (more like 2 IMO), and I believe he went 0-4 with 3 Ks at the plate. He hit into a double play with runners on 2nd and 3rd, and also struck out with the bases loaded. I sure hope it doesn't effect him the 2nd half. He's too good to let one game effect an entire season, even if it was the All-Star game.
