Congrats to Junior, I'm glad he got it over with. I'd say it began to take a toll on him after pressing since hitting 599 a little over a week ago. Also, when thinking about him hitting this one made me think what could've been if a healthy Jr. had played all those years and not missed due to various injuries.

Congrats to Griffey on reaching this milestone. He now only sits nine homers behind Sammy Sosa for 5th on the all-time list.

I really wish he would have hit the homer in Cincy. I think the fans deserved to see it there. The Reds faithful have gone through a lot with Jr's injuries over the years. I hope the Management celebrates this achievement in style tonight at the game.
