Something is wrong with the horse. I don't know what's wrong, possibly something internal, but what a bad day for Big Brown to have trouble.

Talk about laying a egg.

I agree. You don't go from DOMINATING 2 of the biggest spactacles of horse racing to finishing DEAD LAST and nothing be wrong with your horse!

Well I bet the hoof was hurt worse then they were letting on.

I think the quarter crack in his hoof bothered him too. I really don't see how it couldn't bother him in a race that long. He is way too good to run that poorly and nothing be bothering him.

It was a shame to see Big Brown not get the Triple Crown, made it worse finishing last place. That is one thing I've always hoped to see in my life is a triple crown winner in both horse racing and baseball.

I was kinda glad to see that he didnt win it. With all the bragging his trainer was doing all week and saying there was nothing wrong with the horse, its kinda poetic. I have nothing against the horse, I just hate how his stupid trainer acted. I hope there is nothing seriously wrong with the Big Brown and that it is just the hoof still bothering him, which is what I think the main problem is. They keep saying it isnt but like you all said, its hard to believe that it wouldnt be with this being the longest race of the triple crown. They should have pulled him from the race anyway like the people did with Casino Drive, I think that was the name of the horse that also had a hoof problem.

I believe the reason why Big Brown did not run as he usually does is because he missed his monthly dosage of Winstrol. Winstrol is a steriod that helps muscles recover quicker and give you more appetitie. Therefore, Big Brown did not eat as much, so he lost energy, he missed three consecutive days of workouts, and he was not in the shape that he was going into the Kentucky Derby or the Peakness. Big Browns Jockey is a great man and made the right decision to pull him back because big brown wouldn't have even finished in the top three. He is a great horse but the Trainer got to cocky whenever he skipped the monthly dosage on the 15th. He ruined Big Brown's chance of being a triple crown winner this year or maybe forever.

Ok, it wasnt the hoof or his health, so........
I wonder just how much $ the jockey made by pulling Big Brown back????? I swear, I am thinking that.
