They are on pace to score 925 runs and Edmonds didn't have any time to get ready for the season with SD, so it's just a matter of time until he heats up. Fukudome gets on base a ton, and his patience sets the mood for the rest of the lineup. Soriano is coming off a hot May, Ramierez is staying constant, Lee is on fire this season, Wood is dominating at the closer spot, Theriot, Fontenot (sp), and DeRosa all are filling roles in nicely, and Giovanni Soto is campaigning hard for Rookie of the year behind the plate. Henry Blanco and Darryl Ward come thru big with pinch hits. The starting rotation is getting the job done led by Zambrano. Everything is looking good, just have to keep it up, and hope the Cardinals cool off.

Sorry bro you are mistaken ..We beat the Reds and Harang 7-2 on the 29th..it was a great day to be a Pirates fan. Any day we win is a great day to be a Pirates fan. We have about 70 great days a year..but this year its gonna be different. We're gonna pull a Major League (the movie) and win 105 games, the division, sweep whoever's in our way in the NLDS and the NLCS, then I can see it now...game 7 of the series. Bostons Josh Beckett on the mound. Bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, with the Red Sux leading 3-0. Beckett, with a no hitter going, walked one, then a fielding error by first baseman Kevin "Buckner" Youkilis, and another walk loads the bases. And Xavier Nady unloads a 700 foot homerun and you will hear the magical "THE PIRATES WIN THE SERIES! THE PIRATES WIN THE SERIES! OH MY GOD THE PIRATES HAVE WON THE WORLD SERIES!" from now until forever. It will be more awesome than that "the Giants win the pennant" garbage..and a Pirate curse will be put on the Red Sox and their crying fans will whine about what bad breaks they get from now until eternity. The curse will extend to New York, and will cause the Yankees ownership to declare bankruptcy, sell the team to Holcombs Ice Cream Bar, causing to move the team to Isom, where they will get rid of all of their $400 million/yr players, and relegate them to the cellar..mark it down. Its all gonna happen.

Wow, I am the most diehard Sox fan on this site and I am cracking up right now! Man how do you think of these things?
I think everyone would love to see a World Series that would compare to the Lakers and Celtics NBA Finals this year. Which would be the Red Sox and the Cubs.

I would slice my own throat if that happened. Seriously. Ask anybody that knows me, and theyll tell you how bad I hate Atlanta, Fransisco GD Cabrera, Sid Bream, that fat ******* of an umpire who called Bream safe when he was out by 8 steps ('92 NLCS, game 7, bottom of the 9th)..and I have a quiet hatred for the Reds and Johnny ****in Bench (1972, deciding game of the NLCS, bottom of the 9th flukes..Gusti gives up leadoff HR to Bench, and Bob Moose's wild pitch allows George Foster to score to win the game)..Im a diehard fan man..and if something like that happened. On the threshold of a WS championship, those 2, if there are 2 people on earth that love me, would have to wrestle the knife out of my hands to keep me from doing it..

complete bs my ***...Sid Bream was out, CLEARLY out, but a gutless piece of harrowed **** felt sorry for him, was pressured by Atlantas crowd, or maybe he was influenced on calling him safe because he didnt want retired VC superbanger Jane Fonda to kidnap him and take him into viet cong P.O.W. camps and team up with her buddies and kill him (you know, she's pretty familiar with those viet cong). I dont know what the reason for him BLOWING the call like that, but he did. And it has cursed the Pirates since. I hate the Braves. ****in hate em. I'll wear a Bucky Dent jersey through Boston before I'd ever pull for Atlanta for one inning. And other than '95, I got completely overjoyed watching them get bounced out of the playoffs or whipped in the world series.

I love it J5!! Great pic....And to you TidesHoss32...Safe my A**. There old chain smoking, alcoholic coach who whined more times than any coach in the history of the great sport of baseball didn't even come out on that play..Why???? BECAUSE IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE! Sid Bream stabbed a fork into a franchise that just let him go and the BRaves picked up on the solid first baseman! I guess Sid Bream is Boston's Babe Ruth! Yes it might be a curse, but I am glad that the Braves gave it to them because your beloved bunch of softball players that are trying to play major league baseball just set a record for the most consecutive losing seasons! So big congrats on being the Clippers of the Major Leagues! McLouth is having a heck of a season...Can't wait to see what team he will make better next year and the year after that and the year after that. BTW, your momma goes to college....LOL!

Whined more than any manager in the history of the game huh? Who has the record for being ejected the most? America's favorite wife beater, Bobby Cox(ucker).
