This could become the worst regional championship game in a long time. Congrats to Russell for making it, but the overall talent level in the 16th region is down this year, with the exception of Greenup. The way the brackets were set up a mediocre team was going to make it to the finals because nobody really had any deep pitching. East was the only one on that side with more than one pitcher and they blew it! Good luck guys and try to atleast play 7 innings if you can.

in the 1st greenup takes alot of chances stealing bases and often prevails then when they get in scoring position they score easy on a base hit. It tokk all of 5 minutes to put 2 up craft stole 2nd and 3rd another guy stold second 2 base hits and there you have it. I wish russell was abit more agressive running the bases like greenup.

There is always the opportunity for them to bobble the ball. If you don't try you will never know.

If you want to beat good teams you have to take chances to get in scoring position. You take points anyway you can get them. you're not going to get many points standing on first with a basehit.

That is a very true statement. You have to force the better team to make plays, and just count on them making some errors. That is the only way upsets are made. You can't pull an upset by being conservative.
