AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP)âThe Detroit Pistons were hanging out at the scorerâs table as if it was a preseason game, joking around with a former teammate as he enjoyed a drink and nachos in the front row.
Philadelphia made them pay for it.
Andre Miller scored 20 points and Willie Green had a career playoff-high 17, helping the 76ers stun Detroit 90-86 Sunday in Game 1 of their first-round series.
Sixers forward Reggie Evans smiled when told the Pistons were shooting the breeze with Flip Murray during breaks in the game.

I was surprised to see this. I thought for sure this was gonna be a blowout. But, never count out the underdog. Great game to watch. Down by 15 and came back to win.

I kinda hope Pistons get beat so it will be easier for Celtics.

Both the players and coach of Detroit are responsible for this loss. The players werent taking it seriously with the exception of Prince who seems to come to play every game and not fool around but he is also the one left out of the offense most of the time so I guess it doesnt matter. The coach is a ******* (must be close friends with Gillispie), that doesnt know what the **** he is doing. What was Dumars and Co thinking hiring this guy. He couldnt coach in Minnesota and still cant get the job done in Detroit. They should bring back either Larry Brown or Rick Carlisle and lose Wallace, Hunter, Hamilton and a few other lackluster players, then maybe they would be a good team, one that could get something done and take it seriously, like the Spurs do and did against another team that blew it in the first round game the other day, the Suns.

I agree with you about the part about how the players weren't taking it seriously. Wallace was in Philadelphia's huddle joking around and everything. But I do think in the long run the Pistons will win.

Yeah I do too but they need to quit screwin around and take it seriously, but when ya think about it, they dont care, they still get paid at the end of the day, no matter how they perform. Thats all they care about. There arent too many players if any that are left that play for the love of the game.
