Allen Central had a really good team this past year, how manny girls do they have comming back next year.

They have Caltin Kidd, Amber Shepherd, DeSha Elliott, Krista Parsons, Hannah MacElhose, and they the county in the B-Team and the C-Team this past season.. There coach really works them hard can't wait to see them play in August.. Calitin was the best def player in the county last year.. They will be fun to watch.. And Allen Central is the host of the County Tournament..

Also the have a Panorama in August and the Right Beaver Classic Tournament.. This:igiveup Tournament and Panorama is very good to play in.:flame:

What will DORTON have next year.
#8
From what I have seen in tournaments at the sportsplex and talking with people Martin County Middle should be outstanding as they have everyone back and have added a talented seventh grader from Jesse Clark Middle School so they will be loaded and are the defending mountain middle school conference champs and pride of the mountains tournament so loook for them to be one of the best in the mountains in 08- 09TongueirateSho

I would have to say that Herald Whitaker Middle School will be the best in Magoffin County, considering it is the only middle school in Magoffin County.

Good point.

I think Belfry will ROCK!

Going by last years 7th grade results in the Mountain Middle School Conference, I would rank next years 8th grade teams as follows;

1. Martin Co.
2. Johnson Co.
2. Magoffin Co.
4. Lawrence Co.
5. Blefry
5. Paintsville

As I said, this is going by last years 7th grade teams, and I know anything can happen between now and the start of the season.

AB Combs from Perry County would beat any of the teams mentioned above by 30 easily.

Who ever is over the Mountain Middle School Conference call Coach David Conley From Elkhorn City Middle school at 606-754-9450. He is interested in getting in the conference.
#22
Elkhorn Middle School will be decent this year. The Fraley kid started on East Ridge High School last year and the Potter and Rowe kid played alot on the high school JV. There B-Team only lost 3 games last year.
#23
I think AB Combs has 7 or 8 holdbacks. They are playas as well. Get some guts and play them.
#24

Thats if they all stay together , and not change schools.

When you go play in the state tournament and get your butt kicked, does it matter if it was against grade school holdbacks or not? NO. So go out and play them now. They are beatable. Maybe you should invite Clay County to play in your Martin County event. Every kid that plays hoops at Clay stays back. You may be able to beat the AB Combs team.
