No Megan Mosley?
#3
Figured Jesikah Russell would have atleast got honorable mention.
#4
Evidently, no players at all in the 56th district this season. I wonder how they won any games?? Also makes you wonder how many games those who picked the players saw during the season.
#5
Hmm I am surprised Megan Mosley didnt even get honorable mention?!?! There are some players on that list that she is a whole lot better than that just shocks me also no Kendra Combs IDK who picked these teams but it looks like to me they didnt do to awful much homework lol.
#6
Would agree that Mosley should have been on the first or second team..From word around the area., Pikeville College is interested in Megan.
#7
Felt like Adrienne Slone from Pike Central was worthy of the pick over the freshman from Rockcastle County.
#8
Megan Mosley was a first teamer. It is a joke that the idiots of WYMT didnt even put her on the team.
#9
I am shocked Russell of Paintsville didn't get mentioned on this list. Her last two games alone shound have been enough to get on the Honorable mention list. 27 points and 7 rebounds against the regional champ JCHS and then 19 points 12 rebounds against Pike County Central with K. Lowe defending her. I would like to see how many players on this list could repeat those two performances against competetition like that.

However, congrats to everyone that made the teams. For those non-seniors, keep working hard and for the seniors good luck in whatever you decide to do next year.
#10
Mosley should have at least been mentioned.
#11
here is the rest of the awards list: Mosley and others made these teams so maybe that is why they were not picked for the ones mentioned above.

Yeah for real.
#16
Can't play defense in the 56th either!
#17
This is a joke. All of the schools did not get their ballots on time. East Ridge's AD told me he did not get his, because we have 2 of the better underclassmen in the 15th region (Swindell & McCarty) and they weren't mentioned. I follow basketball and how can the girl from Knott County (Mosely) go unmentioned? How can the Sawyers girl from Shelby Valley be mentioned on the all defensive team? I watched the Swindell girl light her up for 28 pts last year. Good Defense. Coaches should boycott this next year.
#18
Sorry...But if you really payed attention at all Sawyers didnt guard Swindell..
#19
You can't blame anyone for their particular players for not being mentioned. The blame is to be put on the schools. Every school was given the same opportunity to nominate their players, if they didn't then it is too bad for the players that the school did not reply in time.
