Let's hear your opinions!!
Here's mine:
Pitchers: A. Blanton, Blevins, Wade McCown
Bullpen: Fyffe, J. Blanton, Huffman (but only if Chase overcomes his control problems)
Catchers: Josh Adams and Shane Sturgill
1B: B. Runyon and Jess Parrish
2B: Wade McCown (when not pitching), T. Montgomery
SS: Blevins (when not pitching), Cory Hamilton
3B: Justin Anderson, Justin Blanton
Outfield: Brandt Spears, Adam Davis, A. Blanton (when not pitching...lol), David Jones (for speed, def. not hitting...lol), and ??? (can't think of any more names that come to mind)

Blevins isnt in the 15th yet.
Pitchers- McCown, A. Blanton, Huffman, Fyffe, LeMaster
1b- Jeremy Vanhoose or Jess Parrish
2b- McCown
SS- Corey Hamilton
3b- Chad Walls
Outfield- Brandt Spears, Adam Davis, Weston Robinson
Catcher- Josh Adams, Corey Miller
Justin Anderson because he can fill any position and always puts the bat on the ball.

I think Pikeville is a great team too, but come on man, you're being way too biased....

Can you expand on Huffman's control problems??? I see Huffman pitch alot and their havent been any "control problem" in a couple years!

i really dont think david jones needs to be anywhere near a baseball field i mena come on people this boy is a football player

Well, if I were a coach, David would only be on my team for Pinch Running.
And I would teach him how to bunt effectively. That would be the only time he would ever really see the plate would be to bunt. Even if the other team knew it was coming, he has about a 85% chance of getting on base.
Once on base, he's pretty much automatically to third in two pitches. LoL

As for Huffman's control problems, every time I ever saw him pitch, he is consistently throwing high. I saw him throw a high heater into the netting on the backstop or directly into the upper portion of the maroon pad behind the plate COUNTLESS times. But, when he is in control, I think he would be dominant.
Best pitcher I've ever faced was Chaz Roe of Lexington Lafayette...kid peaked after pitching 7 innings at 95...in the 7th inning....hard to see that smoke!!! Had I think an 84 mph curve too...pretty nasty stuff.....anyone know who he signed with?

im with mario...and not to be rude, but every position wouldnt be filled by a Panther.....sorry....pikeville is good..yes....however, they dont have,IMO, the 9 best players in the region
but i think some of us may have an issue with being bias..

I agree with SuperMario, it too early for an All-Star team when no one has even played yet.

Same thing as a pre-season poll or anything like that.

That is a blatant lie...Sorry to call you out on it, but Chase threw one into the maroon backstop once that I know of...He was an 8th Grader throwing his very first varsity pitch!!! Maybe there was a second time, but countless times is completely untrue!

it is indeed a little early for an all-star team but betsy layne is ranked #5 in all the poles that i have read so far i think it's a little odd that no one is mentioned from this team betsy layne is a young team but they have alot of good players... this team "all-star" that you speak of has a weak out field so i would have to put jordon case some where in the mix last year as a junior he made all conference 58th all district and 15th all region so he has to be mentioned...alsoi pat stapleton is one of the regions fastest pitchers i bet if you asked the coaches of the 15th he would be on the list too!

I heard Matt Hensley is finished as far as high school baseball goes... for an incident with a teammate? Is that true Bill Don?

MY All Star team. I have three players per position
C-Josh Adam, Jamie Jarrett, Chris Hess
1B- Jeremy Vanhoose, Jesse Parrish, Steven Howell
2b-Travis Montgomery, Wade McCown, Corey Young
SS-Josh Lemaster, Cory Hamilton, Braxton Lafferty
3b-Chad Walls, Eric Slone, Matt Hensley
OF-Adam Davis, Weston Robinson, Brandt Spears, Brandon May, Adam Blanton, Daniel Pugh
P-Josh Lemaster, Chase Huffman, Adam Blanton, Kyle Horn
Cant go wrong with those four.
All of my ranking go in order, except the OF.
Johnson Central-3 players
Pikeville-8 players
Paintsville-6 players
Sheldon Clark-5 players
East Ridge- One player
Allen Central- One player
2 other players I would like to give some credit are Tyler Turner from Allen Central, Brenton Hamilton from Prestonsburg, and Brandon Runyoun from Belfry. All of these players could make this list, and then a few more.
