The Cordia Lions made some big improvements after Christmas and got some big wins. They could barely dribble the ball when the season started, give Coach Melton some props, he done a heck of a job with those girls.

I will go with Jenking since they made the district finals and regional. I dont think that anyone would've pick that. Congrats to that team and coach

Im going with Jenkins and maybe JBS both played well in the district, also Buckhorn got better as the year went on.

Jenkins is the most improved. When the season began we struggled. But after we got rid of some "DEAD WEIGHT" we picked up alot.

Allen Central !!! a team that was picked fourth in the district and was rated 15th out of 16 teams in the earlier ratings in both the state's leading newspapers.

A squad that started and had to rely on two junior high players to make the regional tournament and won 8 games over the season.

Allen Central after a season like they had last year under the Hopkins clan I don't see how any team can come back from that. I would definitely say Allen Central on this one. Coach Martin had them fundamentally sound and great foot work compared to the last two seasons. They said one of the Hopkins' said that if they would had gave them a couple more years then they would had been best in the state. I don't think so... Mark Martin is probably one of the best if not best one on one coach around here . GREAT YEAR COACH MARTIN AND LADY REBS
