They played Saturday...Horn pitched very very well...Big things expected from him this year...

Horn is going to have to play well this season. I think it won't matter too much because I think SC and Magoffin will end up with the 4 and 5 seeds in the district and they'll be playing in the "play-in" game, but you never know.

Contender? for what? The district? Ok I can really see them getting by LC, JC, and/or Paintsville.

i can see them beating either JC or Paintsville one game but when tournament time comes around they just might not have the pitching to make it though the tourny

Yea it sure will, and for them to beat JC or Paintsville they would have to throw their 4 or 5 pitcher and completly not be hitting what so ever that day. They are just not on the same level as these schools in the district, with LC added in as well.

So are you saying that SC will not beat any of the big 3 in the 57th at least 1 time this season? As in, they will go winless against Paintsville, Johnson Central and Lawrence Co this season?

Yeh that's what i'm saying. It's a lot different this year. These games actually mean something with the seeding being in place. Therefore, SC will se their best pitchers, and there is no way they can match what these three have.
